Yet another "legit" exploit discovered - cheesy gold earning

The best would be a grinding "kris type item" of mod or someting

I have one that sells for 17k profit just a normal one. My other one sells for 22k profit :0

Not just javelins, but throwing axes // knives don't work either.
I could only find a warscythe: 5.5k profit
I clicked back'n forth for 45 minutes. It was sort of mesmerizing, something *free*. Then I threw soda on my face...wish my cup had water in it... and dropped the gold and left.

If you get addicted to this.. I mean how far ahead is your conversion to ..oh say, mh? Not that its not a cool trick, but eh, something doesn't seem quite right.

Now the problem is actually gambling the freaking uniques. I just gambled like 2 mil probably and i got nothing.. A few decent ammys but nothing worth keeping.

Hehe, don't expect wonders. I gambled like 100 mil (legally collected without that cheesy grinding fool's trick) and so far I got 2 unique and 2 set amulets (Atma's Scarab, Nokazan's, Iratha's, Tancred's). But I also got some decent rare s :)

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't with different items for me. The only unique I gambled is the Rising Sun (not bad). I get 6-10K per sell.

BTW, can you gamble SoJ's?

my war axe costs a shade under 10k and sells for 35k so that maths out to about 25k per sell, not bad for the second item I tried. I was also gifted in the Gambleing area I now have 6 vilda ammy's all gambled within an hour. So if anyone needs one of these elite major hard to find amulets let me know Ii have them. oh I also got a couple crappy +3 skill amulets, and a major cool 8%life, 6%mana, +5energy, +20 lightning Res, 18% MF rare ring and you only need to be level 73 to put it on....I'm so lucky

Charsi seems to be the one you should sell to as her prices are cheaper than other vendors :)

24k profit for me.....takes no time at all for full gold for lvl 92

I tried grinding. .I tried fools. . it's weird. .it shows that I would be selling for more than what I bought it. . .but I keep only getting like 5k back when it says sells for 27k. . .or something like what :/

I gambled a carrion wind yesterday O_O my first unique ever from gambling. I also gambled 100 life ammy, but no second mod :( also got a few +2 skill rares

Hmm ... guys does it still work. last night they closed Europe realm. maybe they fixed it?

I am at work right now. If it still works let me know. Right now. So I can resign and go go go :creep:

last night on useast it was working just fine...i dropped some gold off in some trading games..funny as hell to watch their reactions.. they're all like haxor!!. My reply...yes..it must be hax. lol wish i could find more of these fun things...i wonder how long it would take me to populate all of town with gold w/o bot.

i've gotten tons of +3 ammies and circlets, and a few ammies with tele

it takes me about 10 minutes to make 3 million gold but that is so much faster than killing things.

i haven't gotten any uniques yet but i did get a tancreds... :grrr:

oh well...it's fun either way.

I gambled a highlords ammy the other day. I was shocked, not only a unique, but a fairly usefull one. I am now gambling until I find a perfect maras.

Didn't other people say that Suffixes increase your profit? Or are you thinking of something other than second mods?

I don't know what they said. I draw this conclusion from selling/buying two of the same weapon type, one with grinding, one with grinding and a suffix. The only-grinding one gave more profit.

But I think I can explain why. For example:
Weapon A costs 6 gold.
Weapon A sells for 3 gold.
Grinding Weapon A costs 9 gold.
Grinding Weapon A sells for 12 gold.

(These seem reasonable so far, no?)

Lets say we have a suffix that costs the same amount as the weapon alone.
Weapon A -suffix costs 12 gold.
Weapon A -suffix sells for 6 gold.

Now just add.

Grinding Weapon A -suffix costs 15 gold
Grinding Weapon A -suffix sells for 15 gold

Zero profit.

Or I can explain another way.

Lets say we have a weapon with 100 mods on it (this is an extreme, obviously). If we could sell for more than 35k, this weapon would probably sell for 200k. What do you think it would cost to buy it back? Probably 1Mill+. Add a Grinding prefix. Do you think that the Grinding prefix would be able to make up for that 800k+ and then some to give a profit? No. The point? If there is a suffix attached to a grinding weapon, that's more cost that Grinding has to make up for to give you the same profit. Remember, with anything other than Grinding (or Fool's) you can't make a profit; you lose money.

Speculation: I wonder what kind of profit you could get from a rare weapon with Grinding and Fool's. I also wonder how hard it would be to find such an item (normal, only those two prefixes).
