Villanelle was about 97.3 when Patch 2.6 came out and I got distracted with Savine. She is now back in LK for Infinity runes. I'm doing 1000 run chunks and then something else to break the monotony, so I picked up Villanelle again and dived into some Terror Zones. My original plan was to find a Lightning Sunder Charm to play with, but that took a bit longer than expected and by then the XP bar was filling nicely, so I decided to push on to 98.
It takes a while to learn the maps, just concentrating on boss packs, and also to learn which maps you like and which you don't. I expect this to be different for each character, depending on immunities, boss density, and what items I'm looking for. WSK is obviously great for Villanelle as she is designed as a Baal Runner. Spider Forest is a surpringly OK due to a short path with multiple boss packs in it. The Arreat Plateau is not so good as the packs are too spread out.
I have had some nice finds on the way to 98. I finished the level with the same setup I was using for Baal, but I will try the Sunder Charm and Griffons on the way to 99, especially as (according to the patch notes) the -ELR now works with traps. Unfortunately I'm out of sockets though.
