The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

OK, looks like Zhao's out of commission today. Unless someone figures out how to translate what he's saying.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Boy am I happy for once that the time ran out on the town. That'da been a most useless lynch and combined with Spud's modkill, propably doomed the town.

I'm inclined to believe Zhao's disability is a ploy. He was the one that rallied the troops on the seemingly most confirmed unconfirmed target yesterday, if you catch my drift. Making himself crippled for a day to do what he accuses me of doing, acting under a role for cover, isn't unheard of from Zhao.

The rest of the votes seemed more like following up to try and seal a lynch, but since there's only 4 of them, we're bound to find more wolves amongst them. It's a shot in the dark(ish), but it's a shot that'll reveal information. Zhao has been the most interactive with most players in the game, finding out his role will reveal details about the people he's accused / backed up.

Also, and do note the the word IF the cop has found more than one wolf, now might be the time to out them.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Zhao is not the one you should worry about. I think we need to lynch ITY.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

I stand by my vote for yesterday. I unvoted him at the very end to keep under the radar of the werewolves, as I was pretty vocal about my wanting to lynch him. I'm very convinced that either he is a werewolf or we only have one.

Hmm - another days discussion ruined by your obsession!

How does un-voting me keep you under the radar of the wolves? Whatever my side -to night kill you would have got me lynched.

Where do you get either I'm a wolf OR we only have one? A bit of a big leap don't you think.

You really did choose the wrong person!

Let's get this done and then everyone else can get on with hunting out the wolves!

We're so low on players, that being a martyr doesn't really help the town at all. Stick up for yourself. I don't feel like voting for you but I'll do so if you're the only one we can lynch today.

Asrrin, is that so? How about Noodle then, he's been rather quiet, saying nothing. Laying pretty low if you ask me. Any insights into him?

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Same can be said Gorny, hes not really doing anything.
Wake up peiple, give us your thoughts/theories.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Zhao, find a decently long quote and repeat it word by word according to your way to spelling today, maybe we can figure it out that way.

noodle hasn't done anything anti-town. As far as I am concerned, he's claer.

Gorny is my other suspicious person.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

I don't beleive that Zhao's posting is being done on purpose. It does not fit his play style to flip flop like that with the way he posts.

ITY: If you are innocent as you say, why whould you vote for yourself? It only moves you one step closer to being lynched.

Asrrin has (most of the time) been right on the money when he grabs on to something. It makes me thing, what does Ankeli have to hide from us?

Asrrin: How do I come across as suspicious?

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Zhao is not the one you should worry about. I think we need to lynch ITY.

Exactly what makes you so sure about this?

Are you some sort of cop or something?

Your previous playstyle has been a bit bloodhound like but leaving Ankeli alone after he has been all over the shop is certainly not you - I just checked the last post in the thread now and Gorny is agreeing with!!

Thats not right and sets off alarm bells.

ITY is getting some serious heat and I'm not convinced at the moment.

Plan of action - if we lynch Asrrin (unless you are something powerful for the town) we get some information - i.e. some definate direction on what to do with ITY and Ankeli it also paints Gorny in a pro-Asrrin situation and could prove useful down the line.

Also people note that Orphan is sailing merrily down the line to victory.

My vote right now goes for Asrrin, even if your townie we get some answers and direction - you have driven most of the discussion it helps the rest of us townies know what the hell to do.
If you succeed and get a lynch train on ITY (who may or may not be quite guilty) and he's a town player your a gonna mate.
Lynch you edges ITY by a little bit in the info department.

Vote: Asrrin

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

You just set off an alarm bell Ivan.

Orphan is dead, has been for a few days.

Unless you had something to do with his death and now let it slip. O.o

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

That's a really good point. Orphan seems to be flying below the radar, trying not to draw attention to himself. I don't necessarily disagree with you about Asrrin, but Orphan seems more suspicious to me.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Obviously the Gorny - asrrin link I just re read and its less pronounced than I thought initially but its an often used tactic to point a few fingers at your companion of the dark side.

I'll keep an eye on your conversations - I'm sticking with my vote so far Asrrin gets us information and we need to start getting some wolf pelts!

D'oh!

LOL at myself. That's what I get for agreeing with something without fact checking first.

In my defense, dead or not, he has been quiet.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

"Down at The Colony's own private bar, the locals had gathered round to talk about the newcomers.

"The girls were pretty cute," young Spudnik said.

"Yeah, well... I've seen better," was all Gorny, the head bartender, had said. He handed ThunderCat a drink and started to polish a glass. At a nearby table, Ankeli and Zhao_Yue were playing chess and playfully bashing each other. Several other people had come and go throughout the evening, one in particular named DoomBoy. He said he was trying to find the buffet at a certain gentlemen's club. Gorny told him this was not that place.

"The front desk clerk, whatever her name is," ThunderCat began, " said, uh, that those newcomers saw Le Loup on the trail."

"Yeah? Well, i don't believe in him," Zhao replied back.

"Why is that, Crrraaazyy Zhao? Checkmate."

"That is bull, Ankeli! And Le Loup doesn't exist. I mean, even if he did, what was he doing trampsing around the woods in the DAYTIME? It was probably just a regular wild wolf. Seriously, i think you guys are starting to worship this Le Loup thing." Then, he said to himself, "What does that even mean? Le Loup? Pft!"

"It means 'wolf'," Spudnik replied, nose in a book.

"Hehe, are you upset that Le Loup is getting more attention than you?" Ankeli teased.

"Pfft! Are you kidding me? Le Loup is a joke and nothing more than a myth. It has yet to be proven."

..........

Wickedswami slept unpeacefully. He dreamed of blood and tendons, howls and screams, running through the woods, feelings of primal instinct and the need to survive coursing through him like canoes in a river rapid.

A loud and distinct noise jolted him awake for a brief moment, but he soon slipped back into uneasy sleep. The next time he awoke it was from a banshee-like scream. He looked over and saw Wami was not in bed.

He dashed out of the cabin, wearing only boxers and getting colder, and discovered quite a gruesome sight. In the middle of the cabin grounds and on-lookers, was a dead body so mangled they couldn't tell if it was male or female. What used to be a face was now just a bloody bowl of meat, the throat had been torn to shreds, and the belly looked like it had been ripped open by a monstrous claw.

Wami suddenly found Wicked and tried to hold him, but he pushed her away as he ran to vomit in a nearby bush.

"Guys," Leo said while coming out of her cabin, "What's-OHMYGOD!!! Is-is that real?! Oh, that is so sick in both senses!" she went back inside, covering her mouth.

"Leopold? JESUS CHRIST!!" Marahumm exclaimed and fell back against the door. "What the hell is that?"

Wicked came round and held Wami tight. "Jesus, what is going on?" she asked, scared very much.

Soon, everyone had gathered at The Colony's little pub to talk and cope. It was soon discovered that the mangled body was Hey.

"Jesus," Marahumm whispered.

"There's more," the coroner was saying. "We found another body when we went to Hey's cabin. It was Orphan. He, uh, well, he wasn't mangled. Seemed to die in his sleep."

Someone wailed.

"If I did TOD right, it was around the same time Hey died. So far, unknown causes."

The coroner left the bar, leaving everyone else to discuss what had happened and cope with their fears....

It is now DAYTIME.
