The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

If you are innocent, why aren't you being proactive and presenting alternative suspects with corresponding evidence? You've recycled Asrrin's and my name from other players posts with very little supporting thoughts. And when you throw in the towel and just vote yourself to try to scare players from voting you, that's not going to win you many supporters.

Because asking questions and pointing fingers is what got me in this situation in the first place- by all accounts the way to succeed at this game is to sit quitely by. Whenever I defend myself it's seen as suspisious and I've no doubt whatever I post at this point will be used against me

And no I have no problem with other players voting for me and lynching me as this will give us the read on Asrrin which others are blindly following or using it as a means to there own ends.

Lets face it your change in playstyle from earlier games may be a tell of a change of sides, Ankeli is quite plainly anti-town be he VI or wolf and Asrrin's one man mission to lynch a townie are the only things of note.

The other participants of the game are providing very little input and hence are hard to get a read on.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

I did think ITY is a wolf, I don't anymore.

You on the other hand, Zhao, I didn't think as a wolf until today, just a dangerous player if you'd be one.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

ITY, did you answer questions presented to you before?

1. Why did you takes elements from the story on Day 1 to make conclusions, but say on Day 2 the story shouldn't be relevant?

2. Why were you trying to set me up with the "why isn't Ankeli/Zhao" dead senario?

1. I was trying to make sense of the double kill on day 1 which I thought would be important information to have, on day 2 we only had one night kill which I asumed (maybe incorrectly) to be a normal night kill by the wolves "Occum's razor"

2. Same reason any accusations get thrown about in a game like this- grasping at straws (as we are all in the dark) to see what reaction is given. It was Asrrin's idea and did seem to be quite a good point. So why not ask questions about it.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Hold on, you believe that Ankeli is definitely anti-town (VI or wolf) and not vanilla townie as he claimed, yet you didn't mention this earlier nor place a vote on him?

Lets face it up until about 2 hours ago I was the only person anyone was gonna lynch, so for me to place a vote on him would just be another "suspisious move" by me!

What post(s) from #236-#267 made you completely flip? Was it the one where I kept harassing you?

Oh I see, you want to lynch me because I'm a dangerous player if I was anti-town, that old song. What about me be influential and getting lynched as the Doc last game, and so forth? Or are you dropping those tag lines?

Please keep the conversation going Ankeli, I'd love to squeeze more info out of you.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

He openly admits to have been the odd jester and now he's magically a townie? But I do have to agree that as long as he isn't lynched on an odd day he is pretty much powerless.

You may not get the sarcasm in that first sentance, but If he was the VI as he claims there is no way he is now a townie- Why put 2 VI's in the game just to have one lynched and the other lose his role?

If you've given up on this game, then why are you bothering to post anymore?

You don't make sense at all, you claim you are townie, strongly believe Ankeli is anti-town, yet refuse to place a vote for him.

I'm sorry I misread that. You wanted to lynch me before because I was a dangerous player if I was a wolf, but now you think I am a wolf.

Care to elaborate, or are you going to keep us at the edge of our sets?

Gotta get my post count up!! and I'm not sure I'll be around tomorrow.

I haven't given up - trouble is If I vote him now I'm gonna look like Zhao's little puppet - what was that you say about bandwaggoning?

The thing is, you actually gave a reason to vote for him. But if you are not going to do anything because you think you're going to get attacked no matter what you do, there's no point in even me bothering you.

Or are you just waiting for some other vote train to gain steam and hop on the first one that is not you? Now that would be irresponsible.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Well the reason im not posting as much is because im playing games and stuff no longer as bored that i sit trolling a forum 24/7 (off topic post)

Right hmm *flowers* I still don't know who to suspect - Ankeli so then we know for sure he cannot win, ITY to get information on asrrin, asrrin to get info on ity...

What do you think zhao?

*that boiling water is sure going to be handy*

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Now that i think about it, and reading ITY`s ideas about Ankeli, why would wicked put two VIs in such a small game? Ankeli might have acted like he wanted to get lynched on day one, but that could have been just a childish thing as mentioned by myself back then. He then claimed the odd VI role after he found out Mooseheads role, maybe a perfect place to hide since wicked might have found it funny to have an even VI instead of a normal one.

Vote: Ankeli

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Unfortunately I don't know if ITY is a wolf or not. His actions throughout the game have been suspicious, but I think Ankeli's case takes presidence, given the current evidence. But I would switch votes to prevent a No Lynch.

I guess I'll throw the same question to you, why do you think Ankeli is not a wolf? I must be missing something from the earlier posts.

Because Ankeli is not a threat anymore. I'm convinced he is not a wolf, though he may still be the VI. for today he seems to be rational and wanting to help. If this doesn't continue through tomorrow (when supposedly if he were still the VI h'd want to be lynched) then we can simply ignore his antics and vote him the following day. Right now we have a lot to learn by lynching someone else. Lynching Ankeli does not reveal info about anyone else.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Ankeli was almost assuredly a VI on day one. He tried DESPERATELY to get lynched, something not even a "sly" werewolf would try to attempt. Today he is doing everything to NOT get voted today, which shows both that he "turned" into a vanilla townie and that he could still be the odd VI. If he goes back to being manic tomorrow we know that he lied about turning back, and either an NK will take care of him or we lynch him. I just see other lynchable targets presenting themselves today over Ankeli. lynching him will tell us nothing.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

That will not be quite real slander Ankeli supplies us the information - to be possible our current spot which thought from you to go forward our under vote from that us to go to Asrrin or the ITY interesting orphan also navigates tranquilly through the competition. Whether still we did think the third party existence?

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Lynch me if you will, I won't be around to post much the remaining time. After I indeed turn up the odd jester / now a townie, pick off Zhao and hope it isn't too late.

I'm not givin up Zhao, before you call it, but I'm afraid I don't have enough time to make my case. Hell, I already made it and you managed to convince the people to lynch the harmless jester / townie as opposed to trying for a wolf. Nice...

I think you are purposely sitting on the fence, not willing to commit to a viewpoint. But that seems like what most of the players in this game are like.

Boiling water? What are you pregnant with you trees and plants?

Because Ankeli is not a threat anymore. I'm convinced he is not a wolf, though he may still be the VI. for today he seems to be rational and wanting to help. I wouldn't put it past Ankeli to act VI-ish for a cover. He is MO is to act in an outlandish manner, and he's been constantly getting lynched early in the game, so it is plausible he'd try something risky like that.

How has he helped us today? He agreed with you about ITY and did a follow up vote with you. Then he suddenly switched to me without explanation because I wouldn't leave him alone. Has he provided any insight, conclusions or even a mild form of entertainment?

Harmless jester? A jester is a third-party role with his own win condition. He can either decide to help either the town or mafia depending on the current situation and how much closer it gets to his goal. You should have just called yourself a townie.

When you're saying I'm convincing the people to lynch you as opposed to trying for a wolf, did mean ITY? I though you just said you believed he wasn't a wolf a few posts back?
