Stream your D2 gameplay!

Would live streaming this game on an i5 laptop from 5 years ago be particularly taxing on the system resources, or can it be pulled off?
 
It can probably be pulled off though it might be a bit annoying. I was streaming on a 5-year old laptop 2 years ago, so I imagine yours can't be too much better/worse than mine.

I'm going to try streaming again. I've tried in the past but got bored of it fairly quickly. I've got more free time now so, if people want to watch D2 or minecraft I'll give streaming a try again, sometime this coming week. (maybe even tonight!)
 
I haven't ever recorded my D2 play. But with only 10 hours to go on my untwinked 99er (hopefully), maybe I should start learning to do so, to capture that glorious moment.

It's become so much easier than it used to be. I used OBS Studio which did take a little figuring out, but, really I watched maybe three youtube how to's and got it. You'll do fine.

I do occasionally have audio problems with OBS, such as it randomly not capturing desktop audio when it's supposed to. Though, restarting a stream seems to do it.

In personal stream news, I did some 1.00 cow king runs on my barb earlier this morning, and I'm planning a sunday morning variety stream for tomorrow at 7am eastern time. Games to include minecraft, d2, possibly a super metroid randomizer, 1st gen pokemon randomizer, and whatever else i feel like playing. come hang out!

I had both of these issues last night. I think the stuttering was the stream though.

Gonna try again. Had some success with less stuttering by lowering the frame rate (thanks I forgot who (I'm bad) helped out yesterday with that).

HC SP P1 pit strafer runs.

Yes! Sorry, I completely forgot and couldn't figure out how to view the chat from yesterday (if I even can). TYVM!!

I think I'm probably having trouble (now) with my hardware on this end and will need to do some upgrading.
