You'll be stuck with a short sword for a while. You can also gamble one.
hmm, level 20 before I can gamble Long sword and level 37 before I can gamble armor, this shall be fun.

Regarding the Twohanded weapons. This is a chance you must take. If the weapon will make a skill useless, Holy Shield I believe was gotten, Holy Shield will be rerolled. The same goes for certain other skills as well. Frenzy, Double Throw, Double Swing, Javelin Skills, and might be one or two others I missed, you just reroll the skill.
You can choose to reroll a twohander before a skill is rerolled. As a 1hander will allow the skill(s) to be used.

Make one and go, ending date will end up being when no one replies for a couple weeks, seems to be the normal for a few going on right now.
I use a bow and my combat skill was Holy Shield so doesn't that get re-rolled according to what Vang just said? Not sure just pointing it out. If it indeed does could someone please promptly re-roll my combat skill. Thanks alot guys and good luck to all!

Could someone please roll for me, or at least point me in the direction of what you guys use to roll 
Don't know if I will sign up for this or not yet, I tend to get bored with characters fast.
But I wanna do a restart, and not start with a standard MF-char. To try to get some interest back in the game=)

@Erics, go ahead and roll him up, I think charged bolt through normal is pretty good, if you got the mana for it...Fate was against that Sorc of yours.

I don't think vengeance works with a bow.
Small update, Orchid is lvl 6 wearin' starter gear still, just beat Den and got CP WP. Continuing on..
Alright so if Vengeance doesn't work do I have to keep it or does it reroll again? Thanks alot.

I think you misread my post, it says one-handed swords,
