Aside from the runeword stuff, I'm having a good day

Just had a quick look at the new rune words. Talk about unbalancing the game! I'l have a beter look tomorrow and post my thoughts in the appropriate thread.

@Corax - Nice photo, I remember doing the same thing at my formal, top hat and tails...... Found that lash yet????

@Everyone - Take it easy.......

-Grogs

Note:

PalaGrogs has hit 96, 97 is a loooong way off, 439 runs to be exact! Exp per run has dropped to a less than impressive 500,000 per run. I'd say that time wise I'm less than 40% of the way there.

Major nice find though - Vex rune popped from one of the minions (Alchamel), so I was pretty happy. Also spent an hour crafting and had a great result, but I'll post that in the item find thread.

hey nacaa :xman: havent seen you in ages. dont be a stranger :xeek:

Sorry sir :)

Just have had 3 really tough weeks in the amry now since we only have like 4 days now left until Christmas break (16th of December to 9th of January whoho) so we are now trying to achieve as many marks as we can which means lot of not being home, marching, not eating nor sleeping. Ah well, just 4 more days and then 3 weeks at home :)

So whats up with you guys?

Wow guys... we've been real quiet over the weekend. My weekend has been pretty uneventful... didn't accomplish anything. I'm starting to write my essay and study for my last final tomorrow, and on Tuesday, I go home for x-mas.

So yep... life carries on as normal.

We need something to happen so Rizzo has something to read when he gets back! :teeth:

Hope you guys had a more exciting weekend! :howdy:

Hi all,

It has been quiet around here!

@Kaysaar - quiet weekend for me too, busy week at work though.

@Rizzo - How was the trip???

@Nacca - Good too see you around. How long do you get off for Christmas?

@everyone else: Take it easy

-Grogs

Note: Have around 190mil to go to get to 97. That's 345 more runs, excellent......... As for finds nothing to write home about, more of the same crappy uniques, and nothing new and exciting - interestingly, out of the 500 or so runs I've completed, I can't even remember seeing a blue TC87 drop?????

Grogs - All the WSK runs must be getting to your head. :teeth:

Nacaa said from 16th of December to 9th of January.

I just couldn't resist :xsmile:

I'm an idiot :xmad: , and yes Baal and I are getting to know each other quite well. If we finally decide to tie the knot, I'm hoping that Lister will be the matron of honour

Lemme guess...Korlic, Mawdawc and Talic, along with a guest appearance by Mephisto and a cameo with Pindleskin will round out the rest of the wedding party?

G'day All.

I've just had the most hectic day in a long time. I'm leaving for aussie on a 630 flight tomorrow morning, and in true student fashion I left everything til the last minute. I've been to three different "warewhares" looking for some lycra bike pants. I thought i'd tracked some down but in the time it took me to drive from one to the other they were sold. (or something like that, the attendent was foreign and i didn't quite understand). I also managed to get my card eaten by the money machine and the bank didn't have enough aussie dollars to give me. grrr.

It's now 13 hours since I started getting things ready and I'm about to drive to my sister's place to get some free sandals. Plane leaves in 8 hours, I'll be lucky to get 4 hours sleep tonight.

And when I get to sydney I have nowhere to stay.... I love travelling

Grogs, when I get back in a month I expect that character to be lvl 99!

No diablo for a month, argh

g'day :xman:
spent saturday afternoon through till monday afternoon with my girlfriend. :xsmile4:
my dad is starting to annoy me though. hes been on holidays for about 3 months now and not once has he lifted a finger to help around the house.

@kaysaar: good to hear your spending xmas with your gf. hows your various injured friends going?

@nacaa: so will you be around here more after thursday?

@all: also i get my exam results back on friday or saturday apparently so i'll let y'all know how i go

HI ALL !! :howdy:

I'm back! T'was a great trip to Copenhagen. We drove off friday at around 1500 hours and arrived at our hotel at around 18. It was a really great hotel, very fancy and very nice, our hotel room was even better. We got a business room with spa bath !!! a very nice bed and all in all a great and cosy room. Our shopping spree started out friday evening and continued through all of saturday. I bought a fancy coat for myself from Hugo Boss. Now I look great! :) We ate at cafe's and restaurants and had a wonderful time, we talked alot and walked some long walks (my legs are killing me!). Sunday we departed from our hotel and it turned out they had made an error with our room. We got a better one than we had payed for (haha great!). Afterwards we went to Tivoli witch is a theme park. Cosy but very cold, and at around 1700 hours we drove back home. I was home yesterday evening at 22.
Already I miss my girlfriend ALOT but she's coming tomorrow evening and staying all of wednesday too. Coo !!

Are y'all having a great day?

SO let's see, Monday's new and fresh, and I've got my last final exam in 5 hrs :surprise: It's on Ancient History, which I find fascinating. I leave for home tomorrow, and I see my lady on Thursday!

Corax - My injured friends are doing well. I've since learned my friend who had brain surgery is at home and recovering. I also learned what happened to my other friend. He was standing next to something in Iraq that exploded. As of a few days ago he was in Washington D.C., recovery for a few surgeries. Looks like he'll mostly recover, but I doubt his body will be the same.

Shermo - If you're looking for the actual bike pants, I've found that those are hard to find. What I usually end up doing is using the special cycling shorts, and then normal spandex tights over them. It's just as comfortable, and I think it'd be warmer since you can get many different thicknesses of spandex tights.

Rizzo - Glad to hear Copenhagen was such a good time!

To eveyone else - Have a good day! Hope you had a good weekend :xman:

Kaysaar is right. However, I use a slightly different setting as I wear spandex long tights underneath my standard bike pants. This is a great setting and as Kaysaar said, you're able to move freely and at any temperature. I can use this setting in snow too...

Hey all, hope you had a great weekend. Mine was chill, but over all it went by waaaay to fast. Am back at work now, but wensday is my last work day before a 20 day vacation. Am currently finishing up any work I have which isnt really much :xrollseye so basically I am doing nothing! So nice to relax for a change. Software deadlines have been met already and are waiting approval.

@grogs - NICE amulet grogs. How many re-rolls it take to do that?

@corax - ah yes, I do remember the pick at formal. My complements on the cane and top hat....serious style points for that one M8. I have asked my wife about the pic and she said that I could post one of us up here...Ill have to dig through some old cds to find some.

@Rizzo - glad you had a nice time at Copenhagen. Good to see you made it back safely as well. WTR OOTS, I think I might order the book, my wife and I love the series. She actually sat down and ready all 127 online in a single sitting. Both of us have been in to RPGs quite a bit so it really is a blast to read.

@simeonb - I love dogs, Im not sure if you read my intro post which was sometime ago but Ive got two doggies myself. A half coyote/basengi mix and a 10 month old Doberman puppy.

@Kaysaar - good luck on your finals...and have a safe trip back home. I hope that you enjoy your time with your lady. Nice uniforms btw.

See (by see I mean read your text posts) you all much more when I get off of work. This vacation is gonna be sweet! I cant wait to relax a bit!

OT: Have you seen the new rune words? Ridiculous. Looks like bliz is attempting to give melee fighters more of an advantage since melee was kind of nerfed in 1.10.

Hi fellas.

It's been a while since I posted a long one, and I thought you should hear how thing goes. I keep discovering new things about myself all the time. Things I have to think more upon to try and change them. For instance I've found out that I try immensively hard to be Mr. Perfect for my girlfriend. Everything that bothers me, things that I worry about, are things that are completely obselete, but I still worry about them because I want to be as perfect as possible. No single person can be perfect, and I don't know why I try so hard to be. Perhaps it's because I'm afraid to loose her, perhaps it's a futile attempt to avoid confrontation, perhaps it's something else. All I know is that I'm not perfect, and the fact that I dwell so much on that aspect, worsens things. Not that things are bad between us, not at all, but when I talk to her about somethings I've been thinking about, she feels sad that I enlarge the problems when there's no reason to. And I completely understand her. If she constantly worried about being good enough, I would also be troubled and feel irritated and sorry for her. I don't really know how to surpass this issue, since it's a hardcoded part of me, but it's a part of me that I don't her to worry about. Besides, it's a part of me that I could easily spare :)
It gives me a friggin headache :xgrin:

Well, not exactly a long one, but still I got rid of some thoughts, and that's the point of it all. Now I must rest my tired eyes, or else I end up looking like an 80 year old when I'm 30 :p
Have a nice day to all of you.

-rizzo

Ronin: Yeah OOTS is really great if you've been playing BG or the likes. I love the series

Rizzo - Women are like Hobbits, (thankfully not for the huge hairy feet). You can live with them all your life, and they still manage to find ways to surprise you.

While we all aspire to be Prince Charming, Mr. Right, Mr. Perfect, or maybe even Mr. Fantastic ( :uhhuh: ), I think that most women just want you who you are. If you always strive to be what you think she wants as perfect, it seems like you'll end up changing who you are, which isn't necessarily a good thing. She loves you for who you are. She obviously sees you as good enough for her. My girl and I had the same conversation, she told me that she had decided that I was good enough. Remember, it's her decision that you're good enough, not yours. :xsmile:

If you're anything like the guy who posts in this forum in real life, then Rizzo, you've got nothing to worry about. :xsmile:

I'm done! I finally finished all my exams. This time tomorrow I'll be at home.

This last exam was obnoxious. There's one part where you have to identify a term, tell what it is, where it's from, when it took place, and why it's important. Instead of picking important things, she decided to pick the obscure... unimportant things. Arg!

I'm not all that worried though. I usually do well in that class. Now I don't know what to do with myself after studying all this time :teeth:

Have a good evening/day all! :howdy:

Thanks Corax. We both had a lovely weekend. It was very nice but I'm very tired right now. I think shopping is were women workout. It's actually pretty darn tough to walk around looking at this and that for 8 hours straight.. urgh! :xgrin: But I don't mind. I love it when I get to see her try some clothes... or when I do *evil grin* :D

glad to hear the both of you had fun
yes, shopping can get pretty strenous. I was getting a lift home with a friend one day and her n another friend had to go shopping for bday presents for another friend. all up took about 4 hours! constantly going back and forth.
gah!

btw ive been a bit burnt out on d2 lately. all this stormlash MF'ing has made me resent the game some. so im going to stop MF'ing for the lash and play something else
