Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread ifra

When you go to the Flavie Settings Tab, can you see
FLAVIE files:
Data file:
Styles file:

If so, are the boxes empty or do they have standard.dat and standard.css respectively in the boxes?

If the boxes are filled in then you should get those coloured reports. The only other thing to note is the report.html output file is in the same directory as the .css file (IE in the Flavie directory).
 
@ Randall: Not sure if this is a bug with just my game or the program, but I cannot open my barbarian's stash. It says that there is some kind of error with Mephesto's soulstone. I'm not sure if the one I have was given to me from Cain or if its the one Mephesto dropped. Anyways, I smashed it, but haven't had a chance to see if that fixed the problem. This is just a heads up I guess.

Some more on this then. Soulstone dropped by Normal Mephisto causes no trouble on my sorceress.



 
Finally (I think) got Flavie up and running, thanks to Randalls help.

Now: I put all my Diablo Save files in there, which gives me the SP characters I have. Then I added my Atma files, which put in all the stashes. When I generate a report, I get, among other things-
Matched 6294
Not Matched 3271
Dupe matched 0

I have two questions:
What does the "not matched" category represent? I assume 'Matched" is a good thing, and means it identified some known item, but I can't guess what "not matched" means. Is it something to worry about?

And two, how do I produce one of those lovely technicolor reports that players use when they have a givaway or want to show their progress towards a grail? I'd love to see all my items in one of those tables.

1) Not Matched means items that are on your stashes/characters that did not match to items on the report. Usually this is filled with rares/magicals and stuff like that. (I use it mainly when investigating problems, where a unique is not matched)
2) You allready did !
Go to the Flavie directory and you see a new file "Report.html" is now there. Double click it to open it in your default browser.



 
GoMule R0.14 released:

It's mainly a bugfix for the stormchaser shield, I did not have a "bad" soulstone so I could not test for that :(

There were actually 2 "bugs" together in the shield bug, one I made a mistake in how to retrieve the skill description. Two, mistakes in item properties caused characters and stashes to stop loading. Both should be fixed now

Changed in R0.14:
- Added error dialogs with stacktraces (Flavie Style)
- improved item property displaying
- fixed bug around shield stormchaser

I've been running a own new character and I test all quest stuff with this character, I'm currently in Act III, that dagger the gidbin is missing it's name (but it does load correctly)

Sorry, but I just smashed it yesterday. I think that i might have a backup with the stone though. I check check and if i do, send it to you some time this weekend.

I just arrived in Act IV and have the stone myself, I can see/load it with GoMule normally though. (So yes, if you still have a backup of it, please send it)

I can't seem to open the .jar in Flavie file because I have WinRAR installed. Ideas?
Start Winrar, go to Settings -> Options -> (I don't remember this one) File Associations maybe, have a look through the different tabs, remove the tick from the .Jar extension.



 
Randall, I know there are more important things you're working on right now with GoMule, but in the future do you foresee GoMule being able to generate those handy text reports for items like Atma does? It would be great for those of us who can't run Atma. :smiley: Great program, by the way, and thanks!
 
Randall I have a character that gets the error with Mephs soulstone. I'd email it to you if I could find your email address. Do you send it via PM?
 
Helx - the newest versions of Gomule do have similar reports to ATMA ones, with occasional things missing.

Example: This Bartuc's is an example of things being missing - mostly it seems to be skills -

Nice, I tried the new version and my stash now loads up fine.

I don't know hard it would be to implement but colorized item names would be great. :)

I get so confused when they're all in black. :p
 
@Krikke: Doable, but will be added to the bottom of the "todo" list.

@zatlaren: I received the memph stone and I can test it. (I'll delete the character as soon as I have finished testing with it)

GoMule R0.15 released:

Changed in R0.15:
* Bugfix around reading some quest items
* improved item property displaying
* added item coloring to stashes (table displays texts in gold/blue/yellow)

@Randall, what's on the todo list now? :)

I'm not sure about the full list (I don't have it with me), but the top 3 is:
- fix reading bugs
- improve item display
- improve/add filters (specially around weapons)

But I did sneak in the table coloring in stashes in the R0.15 version (only stashes, I didn't have time to do the clipboard. It will be there in the next version)
I'm not 100% happy with the results yet though, I might need to change a few of the colors and I am not sure if changing the text color is a good idea. (specially rares, yellow) is not very good readable.

Good as ever Randall, tiny pick of a nit - I still get some missing skills (My Bartuc's now looks like the one you posted earlier though).

One personal thing, I'm not a fan of the colourisation - I'm colour blind so I can't tell the difference between rares and uniques! Hell of a job though.
