Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread ifra

Randall, you are truly a berserker. Something you did in either R0.10 or R0.11 fixed my problems with characters and stashes not opening. Now they all work perfectly, and I can see the properties of the items (including rares) without having to look them up separately on the Arreat Summit as I'm dragging stuff around.

Now downloading R0.12. The open dialog was really irritating so that'll be a huge help.

@Crimson Flame: Nope, not that I know of.

@Luca Rescigno:
It where 1.10 beta items I had problems with, you can see it with the GUID ATMA displays. (the older GoMule version read it incorrect)

Don't trust all properties yet, some are missing and some could be incorrect.
Specially those with skills or cast on change things are generally missing. (EDIT: And I see a lot of blank lines or a sporadic "null" as well, specially with jewel socketed items)

Currently I am adding Flavie (the Direct D2s/D2X part) to GoMule, it's basically already working I just need to add the few things you can setup to the GoMule project window.

Be a bit careful with R0.12, due to the addition of the GoMule Bank I needed to change how the saving is handled. I have not seen any problems with it myself though (and I use GoMule as my primary muling tool myself, it's one of the best motivations to keep improving it)

New GoMule Release

Changes in R0.13:
- Bugfix around autosave
- Added part of Flavie to GoMule, GoMule can now create Flavie reports. (For now it only seems to have a problem with rainbow facets)

Working like a charm Randall. :thumbsup:

Bye, bye Virtual PC.

Randall. I sent you a mail with a stash containing a shield I've been having problems with.

I accidently sent it from my hotmail account, I don't know if it'll end in you junkmail folder so I figured I'd give you a heads up.

Aside from the small error, I'm not experiencing any problems with GoMule.

PS. I love the filters :thumbsup:

I had a bit of a problem with a shield as well actually - Stormchaser Unique Scutum. I just deleted it, it got annoying.

Flavie seems to have a problem with Rainbow Facets as well - I recently found a Fire Level-up facet and it labels it as a poison one for some reason.

That's the one I have a problem with, too. :)

I know about the facets & Flavie, all facets are added to the last one in the .DAT file, which is the poison. (I listed it as known Flavie bug)

I'll start checking out the shield, at least for now I can see it can not be read.
@nubikoen: Thanks for the stash

Okay, I was right after all (I'd posted prematurely earlier, then erased my post, but I could have just left it). For some reason, Flavie refuses to work on Vista Business; the calls to Atma stall and the error message I get says "Error: Atma files are incomplete" whenever I click on "Generate Atma Files". After frustrating myself for an hour or so trying to fix the problem, I gave up an came here. I was just about to post when I decided to try out GoMule. So I did, and lo and behold, when I access Flavie from within GoMule, the function works perfectly, and out comes a Flavie Report. I won't pretend to know why this is the case, but if other SPFers have Vista or are considering upgrading, I just wanted to let them know that using GoMule as a workaround is a viable alternative.

@pwangsta:
Your in luck, the Flavie in GoMule is also the future I see for Flavie in general.

The oriniginal Flavie get's one new release where the direct D2S/D2X feature is removed and that's it.

All new development will be done in the GoMule version of Flavie.
(which is open source, including the added Flavie)

EDIT:
@Krikke: Thanks for the info, I allready have a test stash from nubikoen so I'll start testing it tonight. I at least see that the new dialog with Java stacktrace messages works

@ Randall: Not sure if this is a bug with just my game or the program, but I cannot open my barbarian's stash. It says that there is some kind of error with Mephesto's soulstone. I'm not sure if the one I have was given to me from Cain or if its the one Mephesto dropped. Anyways, I smashed it, but haven't had a chance to see if that fixed the problem. This is just a heads up I guess.

Stealthblade - I get the same problem - smashing the stone to get at the juicy rune inside should solve it. Just try not to open the character while they have the stone, or just let Cain give you the stone just before you go to the Hellforge. That's what I'm doing with my sorc.

Ok thanks a lot. :) I didn't want to start a new barb and have to SLOWLY level him up past 30 again just because he had some error. You're my barb's hero!

@StealthBlade:
If you still have a stone, please put it on the mail.

I've been running a own new character and I test all quest stuff with this character, I'm currently in Act III, that dagger the gidbin is missing it's name (but it does load correctly)

Finally (I think) got Flavie up and running, thanks to Randalls help.

Now: I put all my Diablo Save files in there, which gives me the SP characters I have. Then I added my Atma files, which put in all the stashes. When I generate a report, I get, among other things-
Matched 6294
Not Matched 3271
Dupe matched 0

I have two questions:
What does the "not matched" category represent? I assume 'Matched" is a good thing, and means it identified some known item, but I can't guess what "not matched" means. Is it something to worry about?

And two, how do I produce one of those lovely technicolor reports that players use when they have a givaway or want to show their progress towards a grail? I'd love to see all my items in one of those tables.

IIRC Matches is matched against a set or unique. Unmatched are the other stuff: socketed, yellow, magic.

On the Flavie Settings tab, there is a standard.css file and standard.dat file that you need to set up. Basically, where it says Flaivie Files, hit search and provide the path in the relevant box. .dat under data file and .css under style file.

Enjoy.

If you upload your file to a website and want to maintain the colours be sure to upload the report.html file and the standard.css file.

Okay, you lost me here.

In his "How TO" notes, Randall says if you have no special files, you can leave the two default entries as "standard.dat" and "standard.css", which is what I did. I don't know of a path to find out if I have anything different. My ATMA is installed in the conventional way, with the path c:\Programs Files ATMA and the save files under c:\Program Files\DiabloII\Save.

Are you saying I have to change the standard.dat and standard.css entries in order to get one of the technicolor reports? Thanks for your help, and sorry to be such a noob about this.
