> Good as ever Randall, tiny pick of a nit - I still get some missing skills (My Bartuc's now looks like the one you posted earlier though).

I know, there are several missing things. (charges, single tree skills, stats which increase by level, requirements).

> One personal thing, I'm not a fan of the colourisation - I'm colour blind so I can't tell the difference between rares and uniques! Hell of a job though.

Did it make reading the list worse ?

I might consider making these colors configurable, so you can change the colors manually yourself. This includes setting them all black again, or use different (gray scale) colors for just some.

I could still see them, it just seems that rares and uniques (and sets come to think of it) all look the same colour, which for me defeats the object of changing the colour. I'm sure someone who isn't colour blind can tell the difference easily, just I can't.

Making the colours configurable would work fine though.

Get both SC and HC Flavie reports?

Randall-
Many thanks for getting me up and running with Flavie- I just love the technicolor reports.

Now, for a refinement: my current setup, which is exactly how you described to do it, lumps both my Softcore and Hardcore items together. I would like, if it's possible, to separate the two. Is there a thread on how to do it, or can you spell it out for me? The path for all the items is the same:
c:program files/Diablo ii/save
c:Program files/AVMA/V

Thanks

@Ipblasch - What I do for separate Flavie Reports is this:
You know where you load the directory/files? I load the first set that I want to report on and run it as normal. Call ATMA and Create Report.

For the second set, I clear the first set out of the listings, load the second set. Change the Report name from report.html to Tourney.html (or SC or whatever) on the Settings tab. Call ATMA and create report.

I don't save the second settings as I tend to want to do the first one more frequently, but it is up to you.

screwy atma

So, as of late, I've been playing classic 1.09b, don't ask why, I just have been. For some totally inexplicable reason, there are some items, that once I mule off of my sorc into an atma stash, they are totally irretrievable, I can find no way to get them back from the stash onto a character, any character, not even back onto the sorc who just found it. It doesn't happen with all items, or even all copies of the same item necessarily, there seems to be absolutely no rhyme or reason to it. Has anyone else had a similiar experience and can help shed some light on this situation?

Whilst I haven't tried it, it looks like this functionality is built into GoMule. Maybe worth trying it out as I believe that no more will be done with Flavie and GoMule is the way forward.

d'oh, Cat deleted your thread, and therefore my response. Attempt #2

I think...
you are probably creating 'newer' version mules/stashes that you're muling things off to. So you move the item from your 1.09b character into a 1.11 stash, and have no problems.

The problem arises when you try to move the item(s) back from the 1.11 stash to the 1.09 character. Since moving items 'back' in versions if a no-no here, ATMA has a (somewhat) clumsy mechanism in place to help prevent you from moving these from 1.11 stashes/chars to 1.09b ones (even if the items were originally from 1.09b and never technically used in 1.10/1.11 they're still off-limits - hence my clumsy comment)

... or something like that - try some experiments with low-level items that you can afford to loose, and you'll figure it out.

... oh yeah, classic doesn't have elite items, or runes, so I think ATMA interferes with any back-transfers there too.

no, I only have 1 mule for 1.09, and it's only some items that cannot be transferred, most can be, but some just won't go, for instance :

Sigon's Wrap
Plated Belt
Defense: 9
Durability: 16 of 24
Required Strength: 60
Required Level: 6
Unidentified
Item Version: Standard
Item Level: 26
Fingerprint: 0x7ef66fa2
+20 to Life
Fire Resist +20%

***Partial Set Item Bonuses***
+2 to Defense (2 per Character Level)
***Partial Set Item Bonuses***

which is on the .d2x file "1.09b classic" will absolutely NOT transfer onto the character "hulk" who is a "game genre standard" character in the 1.09 save file directory, same as "Sauceress" who is the one who found it, and from whom it was transferred to the stash. The belt will also NOT transfer back to the sorceress. HOWEVER :

Sigon's Sabot
Greaves
Defense: 14
Durability: 16 of 24
Required Strength: 70
Required Level: 6
Unidentified
Item Version: Standard
Item Level: 26
Fingerprint: 0xa0a786a6
Cold Resist +40%
20% Faster Run/Walk

***Partial Set Item Bonuses***
+50 to Attack Rating
50% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items
***Partial Set Item Bonuses***

will transfer without incident between all three files. And no, it's not just the one sigons belt, there's 4 different Sigon's Wraps and not a one of them will transfer off of the mule save file once they're put onto it.

Hsarus' Iron Heel
Chain Boots
Defense: 8
Durability: 14 of 16
Required Strength: 30
Required Level: 3
Item Version: Standard
Item Level: 26
Fingerprint: 0x34dbd8ec
Fire Resist +25%
20% Faster Run/Walk

***Partial Set Item Bonuses***
+10 to Attack Rating (10 per Character Level)
***Partial Set Item Bonuses***

is another item which will not transfer off of the stash character, I'm sure there's others, but those are the only ones that I've noticed the problem with so far.

Awesome! Thanks a lot man, problem solved

Whilst I haven't tried it, it looks like this functionality is built into GoMule. Maybe worth trying it out as I believe that no more will be done with Flavie and GoMule is the way forward.

I don't think GoMule works with 1.09, I have not tested it but I have added checks on the internal version numbers in GoMule (I think/hope they are blocked for reading)

@lpblasch:
If you only rarely create this second report, read what Thyiad posted.

If you create both reports often, create a second set of settings and set it up for the other report. (if you need help with this, post here or PM me)

Randall

Hrus and I were thinking that it might be nice to add some of these issues that come up now and again to the beginning of the thread. (In fact, you will notice a "new" post #2 that we had reserved when we made this thread.)

I've added this one to that post, but if anyone knows of any more, PM Hrus or I. (Make sure to include a link to the relevant post with the solution.) Hopefully, that will save people some time searching through these long threads.

GoMule R0.16

GoMule R0.16 released

Changed in R0.16:
- improved item property displaying (almost done now, please report any missing properties)

Basically, all properties should be visible, if not please report.
(most likely the item, the missing property and the line GoMule should be enough, if not I'll ask for more info)

Note:
- I only know of one missing property, the Assassin traps skill tree. Still I need the GoMule line to fix it.

As for example, here is my Bartuc's in GoMule R0.16:

Bartuc's Cut-Throat
Required Level: 42
Required Strength: 79
Required Dexterity: 79
FP: 0x97c76573
iLvl: 87
Properties:
20 to Strength
20 to Dexterity
183% Enhanced Maximum Damage
25 to Minimum Damage
50 to Maximum Damage
9% Life stolen per hit
+2 to Assasin Skill Levels
30% Faster Hit Recovery
20% Bonus to Attack Rating
+1 to Martial Art Skills (Assassin Only)

Is it possible in ATMA to transfer all of the items in a mule to a stash? I'm wondering because all my mules are messed up and i can't find the item I'm searching for. I could do it manualy but I want to know if there is some easier way.

No, you have to move the items manually.

If I understand correctly, you don't know on which mule the desired item is located?

Then I would suggest this solution: Make a Flavie report from all your mule files - it should generate Atma dump files for each mule. Then just go to the folder where you have these dumps (iirc in the same folder where the mules are located) and just search for a text string in that folder with your file manager. It should show the name of the files which include that text string.

@Randall

I have a stash full of rare items with + to skills.
There's loads of items where it just reads something like

+1 to null
+2 to null

and the like.
I can send you the stash if you like, just give me an address.

edit: This is in R0.16

I wanted to report that since I deleted a duped "Hand Of Justice" (Sur Cham Amn Lo) axe from my old cheat/tainted stash (using ATMA, since GoMule wouldn't open it), it has worked fine. Now I'm using GoMule for my clean characters and it's a godsend. I don't need ATMA anymore. Thanks, Randall!

I'm not in a place where I can test right now, but does R0.16 display the names of rare items? Or does it still say "Rare Ring" or "Rare Chain Boots" or whatever? Is that a feature you may be able to implement in the future? There are some really nice rares I've found that I have started to recognize just by their names, so it would be nice to see those. Also, what about the ability to modify the colors used for displaying item names? Some people earlier were having trouble differentiating rare and unique items, and the yellow text of the rares is kind of hard to read.

@Luca Rescigno:
- Do you still have a backup of that "Hand Of Justice" ?
- Nope, rare/crafted are still "rare". I most likely will change this, but I have not found out a automatic way to do this.
- Colors are not editable yet (and yes, I dislike the yellow as well) The default color for rare will change and I am planning on editable colors.
