Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Yup. This is also the only file I have encountered this problem with.

Is there maybe another version I could download? Or maybe just the drop calculator, as that is the only thing I need.

Bad news, there isn't another drop calc :)

This thread http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=93918&page=3 has some interesting insights, read it from the start and see if anything matches your problem.

In particular:

when I downloaded the file, I scanned the file with AVG a Virus was shown but I ignored it and I did not take any action against the file, I let it be. Apparently it did something not allowing me to access it.

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Problem solved! My antivirus had found an adware in the file, but didn't bother to tell me :) After I restarted the computer and tried to launch the file again, it asked me what to do about the adware, I chose "exclude from scan" and now it works. Thanks for your time and help, everybody!

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Is there dup detection in GoMule, or a way to filter by dupes?

Is see dup.txt and dupes.txt files in GoMule's directory, is the best way to get rid of dups to guide off of these files?

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Uh, I did something really bad. I hit deleted by accident, and lost two stashes. I can't find them in my recycle bin. Is there any way to restore them?

Thanks

Oh, phew...seems I am a fool. I hit load directory 2-3 times immediately after, and they didn't reappear. Now I did, 5 minutes later, and one did. There is still one missing, and I'm not sure what happened to it, but that one didn't have too much on it.

Is there any way to turn a confirm-delete on for ATMA? I don't want this to happen again.

There is an Options setting for confirm-delete but this only relates to deleting individual items within a stash or a character. What and how exactly would you need this feature extended?

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Deleting stashes. I had a stash, I slipped, I hit the delete key, and boom, the stash is gone. A confirm on deleting stashes would be very nice.

Fortunately, I didn't lose much (an IK maul alone, I think, and that is no big deal), but this certainly taught me a lesson.

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

That doesn't delete the stash....it just removes it from the ATMA file pane, right?

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

What file is the stash saved in in GoMule?

And can I get an answer for my dup detection question above por favor...

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

What do you mean by "the stash"? You mean the clipboard?

As for the dupe stuff, I believe flavie does dupe detection. I'd advise you don't delete any files that come with GoMule/Flavie... :)

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Previously I could tell where my items were (.d2s files) and could back them up comfortably. In the GoMule directory, I don't know which file holds my stash and the items in it.

Now that I dumped everything into a stash I want to know how to backup my items.
Just copy the whole GoMule directory I suppose?

Regarding dup detection: I read that Flavie does this. However, I don't see the settings for this in GoMule > Flavie settings (hit the GoMule button in the window and observe Flavie settings).

Can't find it anymore, anywhere. I am under the impression it is a hard delete.

They're D2X files and they're located wherever you saved them!

The dupe detection is automatic. I imagine you'll find a file called "matched.dualFP.txt" in your GoMule directory if you do have any dupes.

I've just tried (and failed) to delete one of my stashes from ATMA. So it's definitely not a hard delete. Have you actually tried finding the file by hand?

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

I gave up on it - the only thing there was an IK maul. I just recreated the stash and refilled it. It's not supposed to be a hard delete? Hmmm...I must have messed something up somewhere. I just looked for the file, and couldn't find it in my d2 save folder (the location where I am saving stashes).

Are you sure that stash was in <D2 dir>\save? Because even if the .d2x is deleted, it would be odd for the .org backups to vanish as well.

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Truth be told, I have no idea what happened. From my perspective:

1) Hit delete.
2) Stash vanishes
3) Panic for a moment trying to figure out what I did.
4) Select another stash
5) Hit delete again to test if that was what it was. (Yes, you can laugh, but I thought it was reasonable)
6) Panic for another moment.
7) Reload the directory. Nothing
8) Come here, post
9) Reload directory. Second stash reappears.
10) Reload directory. First stash doesn't reappear.

Perhaps I moved it just before I deleted it, but I don't think I did. The most likely thing is I screwed up something, somewhere.

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

You can download and run Undelete to recover previously deleted files. It is free to download and pretty easy to use.

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Deleting a stash in the left hand ATMA pane does not delete it from the HD. I do it all the time with whole directories.

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

Bug Report for Flavie:
version 1.4 (beta 11)

Items still on a dead characters' corpse are not in the generated report.
... also, just to be clear, I did double-check... The items are listed in the ATMA text files (under "Corpse Items:"), so the problem seems to be in Flavie exclusively.

Even though it's cheese to re-use HC items, I'd still think that grailers might want this to count their items). And in my case, it was a SC character, so I definitely want the items counted and indexed in Flavie.

Re: Muling & Reporting: The ATMA/GoMule/Flavie Thread

GoMule won't open a stash if this item is in it, anything wrong with it?
