Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Why do you think Noodle and Mara are allied with each other after 1 convo?

Tribble
By this post Loz says he doesn't need to be saved, and seems to be saying "no" to both Noodle and Zhao. Why does he keep putting Tribble at the end of each post?

Wikipedia describes an "agony booth" as a torture chamber of sorts in star trek's mirror universe. Someone might have been thrown in one last night and tortured.
I missed this post. Could this be what happened to Loz?

Alright I'll grill Mara and see if I can force out his allegience. If he's not a part of Starfleet then we'd have to set phasers to kill.

Pop quiz for you Mara, if you are out on a date with your girlfriend, what pet name do you call her?
a. Cutie Pie
b. Honey Bunny
c. Sweet ums
d. 7 of 9

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Out of all those? Closest one is A) Cutie Pie.

I would have also answered:
Baby
Babe
Moonshine
to name just a couple

Going back on topic, however, I have to believe that krazey's posts are somehow significant. Krazey, help us help you. Give us something to work with.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I want to make sure it's clear with everyone that I don't have an actual theory that I believe is correct. I'm trying to throw out possible scenarios in order to spark discussion. I think we can all agree that the discussion on day one was remarkably lacking in content, and with neither a lynch nor a night kill, we're seriously lacking in pertinent information.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

*searches for another bottle of red SWEET wine* while im searching, i can give you guys my thoughts.

appears to me that *hiccup* Loz has been silenced or whatever and is typing weird. i have notcied he keeps saying *burp* 'scuse me. i've notcied that he keeps saying "Tribble." does this mean that he could actually BE a Tribble? is it possible that a Tribbles can bite or mount your leg and turn you into one? or am i that drunk that im spouting off nonsense?

His reply to Zhao looks like-
occums razor victim was recruited and not killed and saved.

And a tribble is a little fluffy creature that reproduces uncontrollably. From the kirk days!

*hiccup* awwww, Tribbles sounds adorable! and what, for the last time, is Occum's Razor? everytime OR is mentioned, i get SO confused, just about as confused when someone mentions gambler's fallacy (which i am BARELY understanding) and mafia points (PLEASE, for the sake of my "drunkeness" and my "drunk headache", do NOT mention those two and go into discussion. i will not follow and start to dance with myself)

Pop quiz for you Mara, if you are out on a date with your girlfriend, what pet name do you call her?
a. Cutie Pie
b. Honey Bunny
c. Sweet ums
d. 7 of 9

those are the worst nicknames ever (except 7 of 9. she's pretty hot). i think that red wine might be coming back up bcuz of how disgustingly sweet those names are... bleh.

*drunk facade falls. becomes Sober Leo* seriously, guys, is it possible that Loz may have turned into a little fluffy Tribble?

Loz-you had a post restriction NOT allowing you to post yesterday? that's a bit odd....

i forgot to mention if that was Gorny's doing, why would he do that? i really don't think it was tho... but i could always be wrong....AGAIN, as i tend be most of the time in these games.

im sticking with my theory that there is a certain someone who can work in the daytime as well as in the night. it would be really nice to see if Noammr is ok or if he's still cute little R2.

Ivan, are you still navigating?

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

William of Occam was a 14th century logician and monk. Occam's Razor is his tent that, when faced with multiple potential solutions or explanations for a phenomenon, the simplest solution is generally the best.

He's my favorite 14th century logician by FAR.

Second favorite 14th century monk.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Lets see, i belive Loz`s silancing is done by a silancer role, we`ve seen them again and again after the Asrrins game.
Ivan, still dont know what to think, the daytime role sounds a bit farfetched.
Noammr, would pretty much like to see some letters other than b,e,p,l,o and p.
As for the lack on a NK, my theories are either recruitment, or somekind of infestation similar to marahumms role back in my round, that turns the infested target into whatever infested it in the first place after a set number of days or a specific event. And theres always the possiblity of inactive mafia, we`ve seen it happen before. Specialy in big games with lots o` newbies.

I don't think he is actually a Tribble, earlier it sounded as though he said the Tribbles are the cause of his restriction:
