Thankfully, I was in-game with a Necromancer with minions, but I tell you...Hell has some of the most interesting (and deadly) critters I've ever seen. I hated Gloams with a passion (still do), but the ones I loathed especially were the Physical Immunes. Especially if they were Oblivion Knights, and I had no place to back off.

Well, here's a drink for another struggling Assassin, en route to Matriarch status.

*turns to barkeep*

His next drink is on me. I'll go ahead and take a fuzzy navel, followed by a steady stream of pineapple-passionfruit-mango juice.

Hi all,

I finally managed to get some D2 time in last night. I took my new HC ladder character Zelda through Blood Raven & Bishibosh and into the Stony Field, picking up the quest & waypoint. She's now level 10, and enjoying using her Firebolt & static.

I also made a little progress with my last remaining three-way tourney character Sarah. She wandered through the desert of NM Act II until she found the waypoint, close to both the Maggot Lair and the entry to the Lost City.

So I'm now making my way through Tuesday, and looking forward to the long weekend ahead. I think that assassins are one of the more difficult characters to play, requiring a good balance of skill & judgement. Good luck with your characters, Lady S and Uzziah.
 
Walks in nursing a sore arm and limping. My newest character Arrowless Bowazon is quite a handful. You should jump over and check out her adventures if you haven't alrready. Well I took her through the Halls of the Dead. I hate Greater Mummies now. At times I kept shooting the same skellies as they revive them. Also I ran everywhere. Shoot a couple times run to a new location shoot some more. I'm not used to running around. I don't run, usually, on my character. I think I tripped over some bones at some point.

Barkeep, can I get a coke. I'm at work and I probably shouldn't drink.

have a couple on me, HBB. just wait until Hell act 5 archers. :eek: i'll put a couple more on ice in advance for the both of us...we'll probably be here for the same reason again in a couple weeks. ;)

Welcome to our forum bar, M'lady. Take care around the wolves, and watch out for the bear. We have a juice bar over to the side, as well as the fully stocked main bar for all of your refreshment needs.

Should you feel hungry, we have an excellent menu and chef as well.

Cytherene is plodding along through Hell, even with her trusty (if somewhat laggy) sidekick, Grimm_Reaper and his undead friends. When it comes to Hell, I hate Spear Cats (they came out in INSANE numbers, even for just two players!) and archers. At least the archers were leechable...I could hardly get close enough to the spear cats without getting stuck by at least three others.

Alexandra is....getting very, very impatient with me. She'll soon be moving, but I've been working a fair amount with Cytherene and Cailleach lately.

Cailleach wants to get moving again. That's all I'll say about that.

And me? I have a road trip coming up shortly, so I'm gearing up for that. It's four hours, both ways, which is going to mean a very tired Shalak.

Went around Act I NM again...getting levels and gold. Will probably need it, for resurrecting my merc at some point. (Going into Act II? If nothing else, I'll probably have to resurrect him from Duriel, if not Fangskin) Should I run into LI's, I could be in for an interesting time, but I'm sure I'll manage otherwise. Should probably try to get my PR up, but it's fairly decent at the moment, as is. Not looking forward to NM Stygidolls. Which reminds me...

*walks over to claw machine, grabs for a Barbarian doll...gets a Stygian Doll*

Of course...

*handles Stygian Doll VERY carefully, holding it by the skull*

I'll take another pomegranate juice to go, please. I'm going to let my ranged buddies handle this one.

that sound like a something that takes alot of work but i think it will be fun in the end

Yeah, she's a CL/Thunderstorm Sorc. She's owning just about everything she lays eyes on, though, so it's all good. (Once she got past Duriel, Normal was a walk in the park--save for Baal, who took about six or seven town trips.) However, starting her WAS a pain, and she is more than quite heavily twinked.

*hands you the doll* Go for it. Probably won't be the last one I draw from that machine.

Barkeep, another pomegranate juice, please. My first glass is to the memory of Eric, the coolest guy I've never met, next to George Harrison. Everything after that is for thirst.

I have all new respect for Sigon's Set. My not-yet-whirlwinding barb Kaalor, lvl 29, is now half way through Act 3, using Sigon's & a great sword w/ King's Grace runeword. Most things die in 3-4 hits (less for undead & demons) and except for poison and boss fetish shamans, he never takes damage. Sure there are probably some uniques in some slots that would be better, but I have no complaints and give a big thumbs up to Sigon. :drink: To Sigon, may he continue to leave his armor lying about for us to found.

Kaalor found his first unique today, Shadowfang, from some random champion fetish in the spider forest, and two more set items (bringing his total to 4), the ubiquious Isenhart's Case from a spider in the Arachnid Lair, and Vidala's Barb from his find item skill on Endegu's corpse in the Flayer Dungeon. Still can't find the Great Marsh waypoint though :( Tomorrow, we're off to see if Stormtree is a challenge... but now, we :sleep:

Shalakshmiyin, how effective is the TS on your TS/CL sorc? I was under the impression that TS was not that effective, it would be nice to hear otherwise.

Stays far away from remains of doll - my current sorc (fireball/orb) died in the sewers to a doll. She was merrily blasting away at skeletons, not too worried at the close range until the 'you have been killed by undead doll' message. Uh, what doll?!?! :grrr: That will teach me.

She recovered from her death and went on to finish NM. On to hell tonight, or maybe tomorrw after a few ball runs for exp.

HBeachBabe, yeah Sigon's is great in normal. My low level shockadin is using the angelic set and sigons for the other slots. So far it is working great. :thumbsup:
