Forum issues were still there when i got home yesterday. Threw away cookies. Didn't help. Thought it might be browser related so i tried the other browser i have installed. Same issue. Threw away cookies of that one too. Also no improvement. So kegs, you now owe me two boxes of cookies!
At least it works from work, so now i have a good reason to go to work.

Victory at last! Changed a setting in the browser so it clears cache every time i close it. That caused my browser to crash every time i tried to do anything after opening it. Couldn't even get to the checkbox to uncheck it again before it crashes. After about a dozen crashes i somehow got through and got to uncheck it. And not only that..i'm actually posting this from home as the forums are working again too!

Read your titanic reference - women and children first - that never happened. Would be silly too, as you'd be left with loads of dingies full of women and children. Women being notoriously feeble wouldn't know what to do of course, and then the children start crying. So it never happened.
Appearantly I'm a feminist. This is because I think it's perfectly normal that women are treated equal, and being equal. I never took to the idea that a man has to pay for when going out. I also don't think that any woman who takes herself seriously and thinks of herself as a coherent, intelligent human being expects that, unless she timetravelled here in which case she's excused. It is however completely stupid that a woman, doing exactly the same job as a man, same hours, same risks and responsibilities, same skills, papers and competence, is paid less than a man simply because she's female.
It's offensive that in nearly every job interview I've been asked if I planned on having children. They never ask men this!
It's outrageous that some men are being raised to see and believe women are just objects, and a lower class of human.
I like to think that all of that is common sense. But appearantly that makes me a feminist.

MrsNix is doing exceptionally well. She was taken out of the high dependency unit and placed into a normal ward less than 24 hours after the operation. She is sitting up, eating and even walking with help, although what little hearing she had seems to be slowing ebbing away. The doctors think that when the swelling going down she may be left with some functional hearing. I've been keeping myself busy doing bits and pieces and playing a lot of Diablo. It is really strange at home, it's been years since I've slept alone and I cannot even remember a time sleeping alone in an empty house.
