Demon Limb, Upped Headstriker or Stonecrusher

My upgraded Headstriker does 92-218 dmg but of course the 100%DS doubles that.

Demon Limb does 92-167 dmg, but has the added fire damage, life leech, and added damage to demons and undead. Of course the enchant as well, but you can have it on switch and enchant your primary weapon as well.

I just found a Stonecrusher with 207-252 dmg, obviously a heavier hitter than the latter, but i will have to pump about 18 points into strength, and at level 86 these points are not coming easy. Also i feel i will be losing a lot of attack speed.

Anyways im having trouble deciding any thoughts?? Also it might be good to know that i am a zealot with Fanaticism, This may help out with attack speed on the Stonecrusher..

@Nesjan what level Fanatacism? Is it maxed? There wouldn't be all that much difference in speed for Headstriker vs Stonecrusher. Both will easily reach 5 frame zeal. The big advantage of Stonecrusher is going to be the Crushing Blow.

Edit: Also, if you wanted to test it out. Just equip item(s) that give you the +18 str. Then you can compare the two, and see which you feel is better before having to spend any stat points.

5fpa is trivial, but 4fpa with a Legendary Mallet requires a lot of compromises in equipment to hit, while it's still quite easy with a Conquest Sword. Both are probably going to be stopgaps en route to something better anyway, but I don't think I'd commit resources to Stone Crusher if I wasn't planning on using it in the long run.

I have Guillaums helm and Goblin toes so crushing blow is not an issue for me, and i am currently farming for a stormlash which i will use as my end game equipment...i dont think it is worth the points invested in strength for as necro sayd likely a stopgap. I will stick with my upped headstriker and demonlimb on switch for the enchant, it has worked this far

I have pat a fana zealer with upped headstriker w/o Gface so if you have no futher plans than pat your char, headstriker is more than fine

Unless you have something better, keep that demon limb on switch for the enchant charges - the AR boost is the real bonus there. Your chance to hit probably isn't that bad, but an increase in that stat is always welcome.

It depends a bit on how much DS come from other sources. The more of it, the less the effect of e.g. Headstriker's 100%.

If you are playing with the RWM, look out for 5 socket phase blades while doing that because it's more likely to find a Lo rune before you can get you hands on Stormlash
