When I tried to install that I got a message that the uninstaller would run. So I backed up the stashes and ran the uninstaller. But it didn't actually uninstall and running ATMA setup kept telling me it would run the uninstaller.
So I deleted the ATMA program folder. But when I run ATMA setup it still tells me it is going to run the unistaller and now I can't reinstall ATMA.
I downloaded and installed from this link. That version only lets me create stashes for 1.11. So I went to the link in the first post of this thread and saw there is a 1.13 version.

Where did you download it? The one that is on the front page does not need to be installed, just run ATMA.exe. Also even that 1.13c version still only creates stashes for 1.11, which are compatible with 1.13. No items besides the tokens and essences were added, which the patch fixed. The only thing changed/added was support for 1.13's tokens and essences; everything else including interface stuff like stash selection drop down remained unchanged.

i have tried looking for a solution to this, but ive had no luck. so i do apologise if this has been gone though before.
long time user of RWM, made plenty of them back in the day before 1.13. so i started playing again, decided to make Oath for my newly created 1.13 barb and bam! gemmed sword. exited the game, went to atma and it it says the file is corrupted. still opens it though and the sword is there, it says "Oath" but isnt actually the rw, just a sword with the "gemmed" bonuses, no runeword related ones. i tried to load the char in d2.. and it says it cant due to it being "bad data"
someone suggested to make another ladder RW to test my RWM, and i made edge and it worked. but "Oath" is still borked and it refuses to load in D2. any suggestions? im rather unhappy about losing a Mal. (ive yet to partake in the runeriches that seem to abound in 1.13)

Utterly confused by this. Sounds like the char was corrupted on save. I think it's gone to be honest.
For future reference if you bork a runeword, fix RWM then load the gemmed item and it will turn into a runeword. Opening it in ATMA or anything else won't help.
SP Versions from the SPF FAQ containing a very useful Guide to it.
Rename your d2gfx.dll to origd2gfx.dll (you'll need it to update on Bnet - the modified one will get you banned). Pop the new multi instance one in the folder - make sure you get the right one for the version you are running. Start multi instances.

Thyiad, I have the TrenShadow working and multiinstance also. But when I use "-3dfx" it doesn't work, even having glide3x.dll in D2 folder. In the links you posted I don't any more help (I'm sleepy thought, sorry if I'm missing something).

by muling the sword off, i can still use that char (which is good). i redownloaded RWM and installed it again, even though im sure it was working already. after making Edge with my sorc who was a char from way back when i decided to risk another chance at the weapon with her making it instead. it worked (with a bloody good roll, now in the IFT) so i do have an Oath now, but i also still have the borked one which atma can open on a char (even though it says its corrupted) and if i put it into a stash, the stash breaks and if i load d2.. it refuses. i am confused, but at the end of the day its only a Mal/Pul. (oh an my eth balrog sword is gone too, since i cant open the thing in D2 to Hel it either

If you have backups would it not be acceptable to just chuck the sword and get your runes and the base back?

nah i made another one anyway since at the end of the day it was only a Mal. i was actually more 'upset' in using a socket quest and eth balrog since those are actually in shorter supply for me. but thems the breaks.

I'm getting the following error code when trying to open up my flagship single player character in ATMA:
"The item data in this file may be corrupt; do you want to continue loading?"

Where did you get ATMA? Did you update it yourself? From the name tes it sounds like the twisted essence of suffering dropped by Andy and Little D.
Try downloading and running the ATMA for 1.13 from your desktop. It is linked on the first page of this thread.

Switched to GoMule; much better fit to how I'd like to stash.
Except now I'm getting the following error when I try to start it up:
This happened once before (yesterday) and a reinstall fixed it, but if this pops up every day it'll be rough....

It can temporarily be fixed by moving stuff around in Atma and saving but is very tedious and inconsequential. Last time for example I found a ring through trial and error that if present in the inventory stopped the file from loading. A few opens later GoMule happily accepted that same ring again. I started fresh so all my stuff is from 1.13 and the problem occured as early as a level 1 character with nothing but the default gear on and has been plaguing me ever since. As far as I can tell D2Item.java:255 is always the last call in the bug report but I am not familiar with Java so not even sure if I read it right. Running win xp sp2, GoMule is from the thread sticky link, tried reinstalling and I am not launching it from command line. Any help would be appreciated.
