Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

thanks :)
my question was mainly regarding the life/defense, the items were just popping into my mind while posting

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Depends on what exactly you are asking. You have to use ATMA if you want to use pre 1.10 patches to mule onto and off of characters. If you upgrade the items they should work fine in GoMule on 1.10+ charcters though. Some jewels may cause a disconnected character until the jewel is removed with ATMA or in game. GoMule can be finicky about the items it loads if they seem too far out of normal.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

From a post in the community forum:
Hey, I recently updated from ver 1.07 to 1.13 and have had some issues going from ATMA to GoMule.

Everywhere I looked recommended GoMule as a replacement for ATMA, which doesn't work in ver 1.13. The info I found all said that the ATMA stashes would open just fine in the new program, but when I try to do so it has stashname.d2x (Disconnected) for the filename in the top bar.

I haven't been able to look up or find any information explaining what this is or where to fix it. Anybody have any ideas?
You may have to use ATMA to put the items on a 1.07 character, then load that character in 1.10+ Diablo II to upgrade it.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I installed GoMule and created some new ATMA stashes. When I open the ATMA stashes they are disconnected and I can't drop into them. All the new ATMA stashes I created are listed in red text in the left hand pane.

Characters open fine and I can drop between them.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

When you created the ATMA stashes which program did you use, ATMA or GoMule? Which OS are you using, win7/vista, XP, OSX? Is GoMule on a USB stick or removable hard drive?

Where is GoMule trying to create the stashes? If it is in the ATMA folder they might not have been created if you are using win7/vista. Open the folder and check to ensure that the stashes were created and the folder structure (path) is correct and the drive letter has not changed. Like from D:\ to F:\ I've had this happen when I ran GoMule from a USB stick.

Where is the GoMule folder located? If you put it in the Program Files folder you might want to move it to another folder.

If you created them using ATMA or GoMule decided to create them in the ATMA folder, and are using win7/vista. Check the virtual folders to see if the stashes are there. You will probably need to enable hidden files/folders and check here. Change the UserName to the name you chose as what you log in as.
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\ATMA\ATMA_Config

GoMule

Which OS are you using, win7/vista, XP, OSX?
Win 7 64bit

Is GoMule on a USB stick or removable hard drive?
No

In the GoMule folder on the desktop.

Where is the GoMule folder located? If you put it in the Program Files folder you might want to move it to another folder.
It is on the desktop but the stash files were not created.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Can someone please create an empty ATMA stash file for me? I think that might get me going.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Is the GoMule folder Read Only? Right click and choose properties. There should be a box for it. Un-check it if it is checked.
Try moving the folder to another place besides the desktop. Say maybe the 'My Documents' folder.
Did you unzip the folder while running as an admin or had the unzip program running as an admin or with elevated privileges. Try running GoMule with admin or elevated privileges, if possible.
Why not use ATMA to create the stashes and copy them over to the GoMule folder and try to open them

I apologize for my reluctance to do that. I would PM Thyiad to see how this can be arranged. If she approves it I will have no quarrel about doing that. I know the stash would be empty and all, but I know that doing anything like this would make her uneasy.

It is read only. I unchecked it and applied that but it does not stick. I tried it several times.

I noticed that all the folders on the desktop are read only. But I can create text files and write to them in all the folders, including the GoMule folder. I moved it to the 'My Documents' folder and it is the same.

I ran everything with the default admin account that you get with a new Win 7 install.

I tried that earlier but it is not an option with the jar file.

I don't have ATMA and do not want to install a program that can unzip 7z files just for that.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I installed ATMA and created a stash with it and I don't see that file either.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I use ATMA, but I want to get a Flavie report from GoMule...Is there a way to automatically upload my stashes from ATMA into a Flavie report or do I need to transfer items from ATMA to my character, then from my Character to GoMule?
If all the items are 1.10+, you should be able to load them directly into GoMule. Take backups just in case, of course.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

To the right of 'stashes' on the tool bar click on the second button. Find your stashes and open them. Do the same with your characters, to the right of 'character' first button. Once you see them listed you can then click on 'Proj Flavie Report' in the lower left corner. Inside your GoMule folder is now a file called GoMuleReport.html open this up and you have your report.

Anytime you create a new stash or character just add it and then create a new report by using the 'Proj Flavie Report' button.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Thanks for the info about opening ATMA stashes, but I still don't know where they're located >.> I've looked in my ATMA V folder and found nothing...When I click the 'open ATMA stash' button and look through all the 1.07 folders and all, there's nothing inside, so I'm guessing .d2x files are stored outside of the ATMA V folder?

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I just love win7. Don't you? I assume that you have win7/vista, right? Not XP?

Enable hidden files/folders and look here, changing UserName to your login name for win7/vista:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\ATMA\ATMA_Config

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

ATMA was obviously not written with the intention that other programs would ever use the stash files. If it was, you wouldn't have this issue.

I found the ATMA stash and copied it to the GoMule stashes folder. It is disconnected when I open it.

I guess I'll just use ATMA.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

To get the Essences to show correctly in 1.13 download and install Misc1.13cATMA.7z and atma_gfxATMA1.13c.zip (both zip files).

Is it possible to update ATMA to 1.13 without installing a program that can unzip the 7z file?
