Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Sry, it was ATMA.

I used the 7c DL because that was the only option lol

Is there a 7zip link you could provide? I've gotten too many viruses from googling 3rd party programs.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I'd trust pretty much anything from Cnet and Sourceforge: download.cnet.com and sourceforge.net

This is 7 zip.

ATMA for 1.13c is a .7zip file (just a normal zip file). It should be fine. Only the 1.13c version will cope with the essences in here.

I don't use winzip and never bother to rename .7z to .zips. Also IIRC Gmail doesn't like .zip attachments but is fine with .7z files.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

kk, well I DLed 7zip and installed it successfully [I think].
However, now when I go to open ATMA from the DL list, a black command window just flashes and that's bout all I get out of it :(

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Are you using a pop up blocker? Don't. It needs to download.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I already downloaded em both... it's when I click to RUN atma that all I get is an in and out command window.

You know when you open *hack program removed by Thy* and a command window pops up then goes away? Thats what it looks like but only for a split second.

No, I don't know because we don't cheat on the SPF.

All I know is that 7zip is a plain unzipper. The zipped ATMA file which is uploaded is my installation. Download. 7zip, install it. Use that to unzip the ATMA file. Click ATMA application.

Maybe you aren't running as an admin, I have no idea.

Please contact me via PM before attempting to trade or MP here.

EDIT:
I tried to help you in this thread and I also did so via PM. Throwing a public wobbly because I don't accept your view that you are using editors "for good purposes", isn't acceptable behaviour. Use character planners like the rest of us and re-read the forum rules.

Which mod should I use to make runes change color? RWM doesn't work on the new patch, correct?

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Incorrect.

Check the first post for the link for Rune Word Mod - which enables Bnet runewords.

RRM which changes colours is really obsolete since the runes are now orange. You can still use CRM I believe (check the link in the first post for info from Silo).

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

These were posted by bigman2013 and Thyiad. There were no other post from Bigman2013 in the old ATMA thread so I think his problem was solved from this. You might also want to try GoMule if this does not help. If you have not done so try downloading the latest version of ATMA from the first post of this thread. If you are unsure of which one its, ATMA for 1.13c.

Oh, thank you so much! I sincerely thought I did have the latest version of ATMA, but a double-check showed me that it was 5.04 instead. After a search I finally found the newest one and it's indeed working now; seems that's solved the problem.

Thank you! :D You've made me a happy Kyuusai now, haha.

Silly me I forgot to patch up......

I ahave used ATMA and wanted to try Gomule as I heard it had better filter functioning. However, I am getting this error message:

I run D2 LOD as administrator on Windows 7 OS. The appropriate files are in the Diablo 2 save folder in programs x86.

I downloaded latest Java update. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

@Tiffany:
That sounds like a permissions error. If you only run D2 as admin, then maybe the only user with permission to modify the directory is admin. You could try changing the permissions of the folder or running GoMule as admin.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

D2 has stopped working. Currently it is giving me an access violation error. The full text of the pop-up box is:

UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:
ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005)

Previously I was getting a missing .dll error. I run a modified .dll and Trenshadow. I ran the RecoverFromCrash vb script, which got rid of the missing .dll error (the missing file was storm.dll).

Any ideas what the sod is happening here? Is a re-install the best way to fix it?

I did a section on that error in this post.

Are you using -ns or are you using CoS on the Ancients? Failing, re-install can't hurt. (Would probably wait until some others pop up with ideas though.)

Excuse me, I have to go now. Got a grandmother who needs to know how to suck an egg. ;)

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I re-patched the game and the problem has disappeared. Weird. Now I'm just trying to get a glide wrapper to work...

OK. That sounds reasonable. I don't know how to implement the changing of permissions though. I tried reading through the Windows 7 help guide for it, but it wasn't written for someone like me.

Is there a step-by-step description for GoMule permissions somewhere?

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

ok people i just downloaded go mule and booted it up but HOW ON EARTH DO I FIND MY CHARACTERS!!!!! i looked up a few guides but all the pics were corrupted and i couldnt see what was goin on I GIVE UP!!! :( PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I thought GoMule was compatible with 1.13c. But it won't open my sorceress when she has any essence in her inventory.

Is there a way around this?

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

handorman - hover your mouse over the little buttons at the top of GoMule. You want to add stashes and add characters. They will then be in a list on the left hand side of the screen. You can load the character or stash by double clicking on it then.

There's a lot more you can do, but that will get you started. The instructions for GoMule are in .pdf format and shouldn't be corrupted.

Vodnik - GoMule and ATMA can both run with essences. Just make sure you have the latest version of each.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Just created some stashes with the new version of ATMA, and they simply disappeared. Possibly thanks to me being a RETARD and not checking where the stash files were supposed to be created.

Seems the default location for this version of ATMA to create its files is in some guys documents and settings folder, and as I've searched my entire computer for this location without finding it, I can only assume that the owner of

C:\Documents and Settings\SUNXUN\My Documents\Utilities\D2\ATMA V\\ATMA_CONFIG

has stolen, and eaten my items!!!
