Actually i was looking to improve my pitberserker either by finding the sc's or finding enough flawless gems to roll some good sc's. So far i haven't really. Only somewhat good was a 4% resist all sc (with 2 str IIRC). I was more after fine sc's.

Also forgot to mention the second ohm and the lo were exactly 8 runs apart. So in < 5 mins i'm two HR's richer. If only i could keep that pace up :whistling:
Btw did i mention i have the greatest LK map ever! Seriously, i don't think i could ask for a better map even if i could draw one myself.

Did you punch sockets in to it - because I'm guessing prefix 1002 means prismatic or chromatic and that it had high base resists around 40ish.

I only ask because I don't think I have ever socketed a magic item and I think I may have probably left some good things on the ground because for some reason I thought it had to be 'jewelers of ...' to be useful when I could have socketed it instead and had a different prefix.

ioupainmax, in 1.07, larzuk can punch the max number of sockets (max number the item can have in that version) in blue items. Free artisan's/jeweler's :D

I'm not sure if it's "random" or certain since I only punched white items so far.

It's random. I have plenty of 1os Resist Prefix of Stability/Whale type Armors in some old stash somewhere :)

Haven't found a new beta BKWB hence the tags. This flawless gem recipe raised my interest. I'm running Andy in 1.10a and score flawless gems frequently. Just today I got bored of rerolling GCs and simply stopped collecting flawless gems. I think this could be a thing to keep my interest up and high.

I just tried cubing the first elite magical item I found, a Shadow Bow and it got 4 sockets, max is 5. I'm quite confused about the number/chances of sockets that is possible so I think I have to conduct some further tests.

I'm also trying to think of a good base to start plunging my gems into and after very quick brainstorming I settled on Caduceus. A few questions:
-Shopping one is possible in 1.10a, correct?
-Ideally I'm aiming for 5os Marshal's/Priest's/Cruel Caduceus of Quickness/whatever + staffmods. Can you think of anything that can possible be huge if it gets the right affixes and staffmods? I was also thinking of Archon Staff but I don't have any idea what could come up and who could use the thing that came up. Maybe Matri Spear/Pike? Bows feel like a lost battle because of Faith. Maybe claws, though 3 sockets isn't a huge improvement over 2 sockets that is possible in 1.13.

Well, I'm going to eat pizza now and read all this with care later.

5-socket caduceus
Prefix: Either Rose Branded or Priest's
Staff mods: +3 FoH (+X conviction) or +3 Blessed Hammer & +X Concentration
Suffix: For FoH it is already godly without a suffix, but for Blessed hammer of the magus is probably required for it to be used.


You could also go for the 3-socket Fool's Runic Talons of Quickness. This is much more likely than the above at only 1 in ~20 000 I believe including the socket roll. Runic talons also have the possibility of 3-socket +6 LS claws. Since it is a random 1-5 socket roll in 1.10a re-rolling claws gives you a 60% chance of the socket roll coming out okay, but doesn't let you gamble on the mystical 5-socket magic items.

okay, what the hell is the deal with IK stone crusher maul?
I have five (!) of these worthies sitting in my stash, not counting the one I'm using on my IK barb. And I have never self found the boots or helm, let alone the armor.

Hit a stash in Durance 3 on the way to Mephy and out pops a Ber, CoH for the barb for sure, and the rusty Lo will go into a Phase blade for Grief, if I could ever find or make a 5 socket one.

Maxicek, a tiara like that cost me a bunch of runes, so in a way you just found a bunch of runes :) And since you needed it, it's an almost IMPOSSIBRU drop :p D2 giving what we are looking for ^^ Grats!
(If it was a circlet or diadem, I would stalk you forever until you had swapped it for my tiara :p)
