Yeah, I totally agree with that. I'm still short a Jah to be able to make 'Faith', but I feel like my odds of finding the Jah are better than finding the base! I pick up every white/grey GMB and Mat bow I come across, but so far I have had zero luck finding/cubing one with +3 bow skills and 4os. Someday..!

When I found my first Jah (rather early in D2R), I didn't hesitate for a second to cube up whatever I had for the extra Ohm to make Faith right away. Bowazons -> awesome! Enigma? Overrated in single-player! I'm going to make one for my Mosaic kicksin, however. I have another Jah, but I'm missing that damn Ber rune. There's a Sur on my Gomule stashes, so if I find another one, I will probably cube it up.

How did you get 50% Enhanced Maximum Damage affix? I didn't know it was possible!! :O
Only 3 Uniques have % EMD but thats based on Char Level. I didn't know you can get % EMD on base items! wow!

I believe it's a 1.07 item. From WoRG:

In 1.07 (and 1.08, incidentally), Ethereal items don't have the (*1.5) modifier, instead they have explicit +50%EDef (for armor) or +0/+50%ED(mindam/maxdam) on weapons (so it increases maxdam, but not mindam)...an eth War Sword, for example (8-20 damage) would do 8-30 damage. When forwarded to 1.09 or later, eth weapons get the (*1.5) modifier, but they also retain the +50%ED(max), so they do more damage than eth weapons from 1.09 or later...the bigger the maxdamage of the base, the greater the effect...

Confimed: @ziambe has taken all the high rune drops form the Countess tower for the next 30 years.


@Excalibur I don’t see any Sorc circlet being very useful any more - Griffons / Nightwings / Flickering Flame for power, Harlequin Crest for MF.

It's only useful to a 200% FCR fire Sorcy I gues but yeah Flicker Flame has defintely dropped the value of such a circlet.

So I fired up 1.07 again after seeing the thread about the MF ritual, and I was quickly derailed by this:



Since I was planning on a doing some MFing, I had of course emptied out my stash, so I had no gems or jewels or any other crafting materials.

So I set about clearing areas until I eventually got a jewel (+20% Extra Damage, btw, kind of sad to burn that on a craft) and I got this:
