No bit of story this time, just an update. I transfered Grim to my laptop, so I could play again. Managed to get him to Lut Gholein today, and defeat Radament in the bowels of the desert city. So currently Grim and his pack are resting before venturing into the desert. Grim has 35 stat points, and 4 skill points unspent. I know where the skill points are going, but I guess Grim will be sitting on the stat points for a while longer...

Edit: Next time I'll get the Cube at the very least, it's sorely needed: my stash is full to bursting, mainly with gems.

Had a bit of time to play tonight and started my Fury/Fireclaws Wolf, Rydel... He has followed all rules so far (untwinked, /p8, no re-running areas) and I'm proud to say that he found a Gull from a Unique Demon in the Cold Plains spawned from a Monster Shrine...

IIRC, it's my first self-found Gull (SC included) so for it to be HC is even better!!!

Once i got back from work i have played with Seizan quite a bit. Today i have done all of act 2 (apart from Radament which i did yesterday) and up to act 3Lower Kurast Waypoint. Duriel was scary for me at first(hence why i went p/5before fighting him) but when i entered his room i did not get touched once not even his aura hit me. I just sat in the corner away from his aura range and fired arrows at him while my wolves/merc ripped and teared. I only had to re-cast my wolves a few times but apart from that he was easy. He nicely droped me 4 rares and a Nokozan (unique amulet). Right now Seizan is level 28 and is doing really really well. I have had no NDE at all, infact i dont even think my life bulb as gone below half. I will continue playing with him tomorrow and hope to kill meph.

Three major NDE's so far:
1. Akara's scroll tree (Treehead woodfist?) on /pl8. He was Extra fast/Holy Shock. Since this NDE, I've resorted to /pl1, for safety.
2. Teleported into a boss pack, but could run out.
3. Teleported into 3 Frenzy trees in Act 3 NM. Was trapped in a corner.
Tried to teleport out about 15 times, and my potion wasn't healing quickly enough. As Caellyn_II's health dropped to below 100, and she had just about given up hope of being saved, miraculously, she managed a teleport away.

I was tempted to S&E, and forfeit, but I'm glad she made it.

Still using the lamest equipment (Tancred's armour, interchangable with 3x Eth, some sigons, and random resists, but found:

Hey, dont even think about cubing those chippies! At least, if you don't plan Mf'ing a ton. Later in game if you haven't found a decent merc weapon you can reroll elite polearms/spears. Cruel/ferocious one with sockets is great for untwinked play

Drystan: Yeah, those trees can be very nasty, espesially when they speed up. Did you have Rejuv potions?

Edit: If there is a need i could give a few items to a winner(s). I play untwinked so over a few years i have gotten quite a bit off items i don't need. Those items would be v1.11 RWM/RRD.

I'm sure that would be fine. More restrictions are not that much of a problem, only when someone chooses to play with less of those, haha. I thought S&E was banned anyway?

I'm still going to cube some, because Grim will need them shortly! Already had to sell lots of them, and Atma'd off the rest (and yes, I know muling on is a nono, so those will be for other HC chars). Besides, I have the "luck" to find chippies anywhere, even in Hell and especially when I least want them. I was planning on making some low level 1.09 Runewords though, as soon as I have the Runes, so I sort of need the space more for Runes than Gems.

@Morathi: I asked earlier about doing the Cow Level after finishing a difficulty level. Ehm, I still have Wirt's Leg in my stash, but would rather fill those three spots with other stuff. Is it possible to go get the Leg (again) after finishing of Baal? (If I ever get that far...)

You wont get the quest drop bug if you do that, I dont recomend it.

According to the NM Rules, once you hit NM, you can re-run any areas or monsters you want to... You can go to Act III and still go back to NM Andy if you want... That is, if I understood the rules correctly myself

If you make it to Nightmare you may decide to re-run act bosses and areas. Also players setting become your choice you may continue with the Normal rules or you can change depending on your playing style. The same rules apply for Hell.

fixed up the table.

@ Sidhe.

Once you defeat normal Baal it is ok for you to go back and get Wirts Leg. However that is the only time you may go back in normal.

*CRIES* killed by diablo's lighting. I cant believe it i was doing so dam well. I was constantly casting grizzilys trying to get him down. I had to resurect my merc everytime diablo did his lighting attacks. Then when diablo was about half health he did his lighting attack and killed both my merc and my grizzly. I quickly casted another grizzly and the second i casted it he attacked it again with is lighting attack and it went straight him and me. My life bulb went down to 0 in a matter of miliseconds. I had no time to drink a full rejuv, it was to quick. I cant believe it. My first try at HC with a zon died to Normal diablo and now my second attempt at HC dies to diablo again. I really gota think of my next HC character and think HOW THE HELL DO I KILL DIABLO!!.
