But you know... How about you playing the way -you- want, and put points into the skill -you- think is best suited to your Hunter and your playing style? You've gained a few answers in your Hunter thread, in which people told you to go for Spirit Wolves (for the bonuses), and you read some guides that said other things, but all in all it comes down to how -you- wish to play.
As for this tourney and my char: I've decided to move Grim (among others) to my laptop, so I can continue playing. Hope it works and nothing crashes when I do that!

that's the skill distribution i am planning for my hunter. i will max the skills in that order. i know lvl 94 is too far away but as the last points go to spirit wolf, doesn't matter much.
i had done a lot of reading when i was trying to find the suitable skill distribution for my wolf. at the end, i concluded that raven is a one skill wonder, just don't forget to recast it as much as required. you can benefit from slvl 1 raven just as much as you can benefit from slvl20 raven. of course than it doesn't become a cast&forget spell but, that's my personal conclusion
poison creeper can be useful, but you won't be summoner, you will be a hunter. you can assist your summons with a good choice of bow and other equipment to neglect the monster regeneration. don't know how many poison charms equal its effect but, i am confident that my druid can be a replacement for that poison ivy.
one might argue cyclone armor doesn't give as much protection without the snergies. it is true but, 268 damage absorbtion is quite something (with 0 +skills). if you think you will watch your animals from behind, beyond any magical damage range, than poison creeper may be a better choice. but if you like to stay close to your summons and the ongoing fight like i do, than cyclone armor is too good to pass

@factory. its ok to join just place in the details of your character in the table and your set to go.
AND remember this was meant to be a challanging tournament with being HC and p/8 through all of normal, Untwinked and no re-running areas (in normal). So basically the biggest challange for this tournament is Normal. Once you beat that NM is pretty much how you would normally play a simple HC character.
