you get only nightmare runes from hellforge

that is not that bad, since you want those runes for crafts, and if you wish, you can just get the hellforge at 1.10 (for betacta for example)

Ya so um is max in NM and Hell... If you plan to make beta stuff the ums can be used to make some easy runewords like beta CM for example (which will help you collect forges in 1.10s if you ever bother with it) or 1.10a CtA (amn ral mal ist) to farm beta BKWBs or hell forges in 1.10a to transfer to 1.10s

I want to play 1.07, but I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to this sort of thing. Can I play 1.07 if I download the patch in the SPF FAQ links section and use the version switcher? (It's not loading for me at the moment, but I'll try again in a bit.) Or do I really have to find an old 1.07 disc? That seems like a doubtful prospect.

@BBS_Agonistes You'll need to have the disc in the drive to run 1.07 anyway.

@Eriklop I don't know whether you've been told, but you cannot run the Countess for runes in 1.07/1.08, her special drop didn't come in until 1.09

Racking can be brutal. I have run for two Arkaine's. Both took about 1700 rack hits.

Make sure you use a run counter, it helps your sanity.

pfft I got 33ish greens before a gold balrog skin. The only thing that kept me sane was all the drops from chests and other objects (41ish life cold skiller yes plz)

33, thats ehm bad RNG or real good RNG on sets. Its strange i have found 2 rares and 8 sets now wtf^^ hope to gett the sucker soon or i might be commited. Anyway its cool to see that its really hard to get. that way i wont feel bad about have op items haha.
