Those things never work on me.
I know my bum looks fat in those pants, because as I have oedema, I know my bum isn't incredibly thin. (size medium/large)
Shopping for shoes is useless - oedema, so I have to wear practical shoes.
And shopping with me always seems to end up with me sitting in a nice lunchroom reading a book or comic. Or more often, spending several hours near a bathroom, because I'm sick again.
I often hear I'm not feminine enough. Great. Like I stand a chance in this prison.
