Anyway, I can't think of any other reason there was not a kill, based on what has been said so far. I guess the drink thing works, but I don't think that's as reliable.

There are 3 possibilities here and I don't like it:

Option 1: Our combined abilities are a roleblocker, thus it stopped the nightkill and Gwaihir is our guy.
Option 2: Pharphis and his "claimed" 6x Doc ability stopped a kill.
Option 3: They forgot to send in the nightkill (Highly Unlikely).

I have no reason to lie, I feel that we are very close to winning this and I want our ability to make some sort of difference in the game. I would be really disappointed if the drinks turn out to be like the holy wards in the other game and they do nothing but add WIFOM to the game.

You remember wrong. It was ML we spiked together on the first night without knowing that we did. He used Gin and I targetet ML.

I don't know what it does. We waiters never figured it out. My best guess is that it is a roleblock together with Pyro if he isn't lying. The first night we both used gin togeth on ML I don't know what happened. There could have been a lot of people out there doing things.

The facts are we don't know for sure what drink spiking does. We masons have been trying to piece together some kind of rhyme/reason for it. When Pyro divulged his part it started to show signs of making some sense.

We waiters can/could choose one personevery night with our assigned drink. Mine is gin. Pyro says he can choose from 5 kinds of drinks every night. The last nights we have tried to match his choice with mine. First time something happened was tonight and that was no NK.

Holy wards was part of a role in a previous game. The role was to pass out a holy ward to each person (one a night) and if at the end of the game if all of the people still alive had a holy ward the win condition would be fulfilled. It pretty much only caused a large amount of confusion though as everyone "thought" they did something or had some purpose.

The only thing I can think of is if it is in fact a roleblock that the roleblock made it so Martin just automatically got an innocent result. Although I'm not sure how that would be handled, as you would think he just wouldn't get a result back. I guess that would be up to the mod though.

This is what I found on the subject Moar. Lots of quotes, hope I did it right.

The masons don't have the same power as far as I am reading it from Moar. I can spike the alcohol, be it gin, scotch, beer, white wine, or tequila. The masons can then choose to spike their drink with one of the liquors. After that I don't know what happens as Moar has not responded to me if they do something with it other than choosing what to spike. I would be curious to see if any of the nights our picks ligned up to see if there are any effects.

I spike somebody's drink with gin. I choose whose drink I spike. Same for the other waiters. The selection of what we spike with matches the choice of drinks Pyro has.

So you are specifically assigned gin? I spiked the gin on the first night, who did you give it too?

I think our abilities are connected. I don't actually give the drinks to anyone I just spike it. I think it works like this:

Me (Choose to spike one of the 5 choices, Beer, White Wine, Tequila, Sctoch, Gin)

Waitors (Assigned a specific alcohol, they choose who receives the drink)
|
Person receives drink

Heres the run down of my night actions:
N1: Gin
N2: Whtie Wine
N3: Beer
N4: Tequila
N5: Scotch

So on N1 I spiked the Gin, you chose to serve that Gin to Martin. The only thing we don't know is what effect it had.

I don't believe you on this. You get to choose the drink but not the person? That is really weird as we choose a person and have our drink. You should be able to choose person and drink with your ability.

Nothing happened to Martin the first Night, so your theory seems off.

I get to choose the drink, not the person. But then again you get to choose the person, not the drink. So I think it balances itself out. If I got to choose the person then choosing the drink would be irrelevant. The only one that can confirm nothing happened to Martin is Martin and obviously we can't chat with him right now. I would assume that the drink takes effect either that night, or the following day. There are multiple possibilities.

I wonder if certian people are matched to certain drinks.

Autti thought so. Maybe we can try that out now that we know more characters. But I don't know who drinks what and we are a bit restricted in drink choice now also.

That would make more sense if the waitors weren't involved. Since the waitors are involved that would mean I would need to choose the right drink, and the waitors would have to choose the right person for something to happen, and that seems like a slim chance to me.

This was before you knew I had any involvement with the drinks, I wonder if on any of the other nights the drink I chose had an effect.

We have not seen any effect at all.

I agree, I just didn't think you seemed to be trying to get yourself night killed. I have never played a bomb, so I am not sure how I would do it, but the only person I remember you really going after hard is Jcakes. I would think if you were the bomb, you would have been pretty aggressive, but I have not really noticed that from you.

I didn't ask why you didn't lie. Do I think you should have? I think in this game it might have been a bad idea, but that does not mean it applies in all games.

It is hard to believe that is a coincidence.

Something so overly compilcated that it could never happen? Sure, sounds great.

The spiked drink causing his role to not work correctly is plausible. To know if other people's abilities were affected in the same way one of other masons would have to confirm who they gave drinks to on the nights they were spiked.
