Kurast Causeway is the final part of the Kurast city in Act III.

Kurast Causeway is the ONLY surface level without a waypoint. Perhaps because it's mostly, well, a Causeway!
If you have not finished Lam Esen's Tome, and talked to Ormus, the The Blackened Temple will start when you enter the Causeway.
Here you'll also find another two "fake" temples for the Lam Esen's Tome quest that you can visit for experience and treasure: Disused Reliquary & Ruined Fane.
Level Information
- Monster levels are usually always equal to the area level with exception to uniques (mlvl +3) and champions (mlvl +2).
