Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread
That was about the best result for a lynch other than a scum lynch. Corax is town and boogy is also likely town.
Strange, I get the exact opposite impression of corax. Admittedly I'm basing my opinion off of past experiences and know absolutely nothing about the setting, so is your opinion based on the closing day story?
I have never known a townie to have a need for an anti-lynch ability.
I was going to keep voting for Drixx until he was lynched; fortunately for everyone, he suicided. It makes no difference to me that he was aligned with the town because, from my perspective, his posts never helped our faction win. All he did was to cause distraction and confusion, becoming a nuisance and maiming our chances to find a mafia. Zemaj's lynch was just lucky.
I have to agree with everything said in this entire paragraph.
Noodle has to go down
Too much lurking yo, too much lurking.
Lurking is what Noodle does, both as town and scum, so that's a null-tell. Unlike most lurkers, though, Noodle still casts votes, so doesn't contribute to a no-lynch like most lurkers do.

And my one last farfetched thing. We all assume too much. Caluin Graye receives a stab wound and is automatically assumed to be town. The very last person to post, on day one, has also been quickly and quite admirably presumed to be town. The only person claimed to have visited with Feysal is dead. He hasn’t offered too much useful information but some very clever speculation
You bring up a very good point, and one I tried to pick at yesterday but didn't get a whole lot of traction. However, the best course of action is to pursue the most likely leads, but it's still worth keeping in the back of our minds that some things we assume to be truth could be faked or lied about.

Things I continue to find odd.
No role flip for Noammr.
No mention of Jonas Cobb. I'm expecting for him to show up somehow during our next night phase. Right now I'm operating on the idea that he attempts to kill every other night.
Is it a safe assumption at this moment to assume that mafia can disguise the identity of their kill targets, while Jonas Cobb, whether he be serial killer or not, grants more information to the town when he attacks someone?
Regarding the post restriction, it looks like the 'communicable disease' theory still holds a bit of water. Rlyeh was the first person to comment on Uraj's status. In
post #730, he's the first person to actually mention the words 'post' and 'restriction' in regards to Uraj.
I know yesterday we were expecting it to hit Gullik, but didn't want to mention it then in case it was a mafia throwing around the post restriction. I was sort of hoping they'd make a mistake.
To test this theory, I'm throwing myself full bore at it. Rlyeh is post restricted today.
If the theory is correct, either Valhauros or myself should get post restricted tomorrow.
