Re: Why never build Fortitude in a weapon?
a +3 holy shield Fortitude Scepter would be the godliest weapon for a defiant paladin. I personally am trying to set a record for the highest defence paladin in the game, so im actually iso +3 holy shield 4os scepters to make a fort weapon. IMO fort would be a very decent weapon (perhaps for pking) since combined with the defiance of an ebug v exile, the +ed on a weapon would be god send.
And a Lo really isnt that expensive, if you want to make the most defensive weapon in the game (i dont think ne other weapon gives as much defence = to +15 chilling armor when struck, 200 enhanced defence). Combined with ebug prudence, and youve got a pally that'll be untouchable. Works great with smiting, since u wont need ne attack rating (not as great vs ubers, but u can prob get enuff damage for pking from other things). The ress is also a good bonus, and the +life which helps once u bo urself
