unique sako

i got a unique sako.
it was only 142def. and some resistance stats, so i sold it to charsi.
am i stupid?
is there are market for unique sakos?
or do people only want the rare ones?

afraid not, the shako that people want is the rare "harlium crest" (however you spell that) because of the stats attached to it. its just usualy called a shako instead of its rare name to save time

thanks. i am in class right now and just thought about it. i was wondering if i made mistake. But, i guess not. I guess just the name "shako" made me think it was keepable.

You were probably looking at a rare shako (seeing as how there are no resistance stats here, a max defense of 141, and noone in their right mind wouldn't like the stats of the Harlequin Crest)
 
Afaik, all rare shakos have 142def as unid.
I don't think unique shako can reach 142 def tho.

Is this supposed to be funny or something?

Wouldn't it be funnier to say you sell hrs to charsi and then gamble maces.
 
ANd for christ sake, why does everyone call it Shako...It's name is Harlequin's Crest...I acually said its name to some people...and they didn't know what it was until I said it was the unique Shako =(

What else could it possibly be? "Harlequin Crest" is quite long and requires some thought to spell it correctly. People abbreviate "beserker axe" as "ba" and that's easy to spell.
Of course, it didn't help the original poster. :grin:

Unidentified rare shakos (and unidentified magic shakos) will have 142 def if, and only if, one of their affixes grants % enhanced defense.

Actually, you have to write a short version of something when you're making games on bnet. I don't think "O Harlequin Crest N Read" or something like that is gonna fit in the gamename :rolleyes:

We type the full name of it over in the single player forum :grin:

Also we call the skillers by there proper names mostly :grin:

it wasn't a harlequin crest. it was yellow.
yellow=unique
grayish=rare
right?

not sure if it was 142def. or 140ish.
somewhere around there.
but i think it was 142.
it had cold and poison resist. i think.
but i'm not sure.
im not much help.
wish i would have printscreen'ed it.
