Darkness the curse necro is currently sitting at the dark woods waypoint, having just rescued cain. This update is just going to be gear based, the story will wait until act 1 is done.
I started out in hell using this:

I think I was at about a 30% chance to hit monsters, less against boss monsters, so my plan of using cb and becoming a meleemancer were starting to go down hill. That all changed when a 3 os phase blase dropped in the crypt. I stored it for a while as I finished clearing this area, thinking the whole time man ITD would be sweet. It was at this point that I remembered, I have an um stashed from the HF. It + the phase blade created something that has revitalized my interest in Darkness.

PSS: It sucks going from almost 400MF per kill to 0. I haven't seen a s/u at all in hell; I'm seeing tons of blue and grey instead. Also, I am having copy/paste problems, so let me know if I've done something stupid in this post. Also, I have equipped and used my staff of teleport, so I forfeit those 10 bonus points.
