Oh, I haven't been anywhere past Auberdine/Darkshore on Kalimdor yet. Well, once with my Hunter - but I wandered into the middle of Horde territory without realizing it... yeah, a guard caught me from behind and I died rather quickly... :embarassed:

There's a longer easier way from Menethil to SW, I tested it a bit with my Rogue. You might run into a mob off of Menethil, but its all quiet from there all the way to SW/Westfall. Just takes longer

What you do is hug the shallow water part of the water, all the way down (or up if headed to Menethil) you come out in northern Westfall. There's nothing at all in your way.

I remember running through Thousand on my way to Tanaris, way back when...

Yeh, stay away from Thunder Bluff and just keep heading for Shimmering Flats.

That's a common thing in Wetlands too .. Most people use it as a route to get low level Night Elves to the Human areas, I've done it myself. Died 4 times along the way. Of course this does not count a bunch of drunken naked level 1 and 2 gnomes that ran through there for the hell of it on their way to Origrimmar. Drunk raid you know.

I only got 25 honor, shouldve been like, 800 honor

Seriously, change the thread name to "The WoW OT Thread". These stickies aren't made for reading, I can tell you.

The guys at my work talk about nothing but WoW too, my patience is starting to wear thin with them... at least I can scroll past you guys. I suppose I shouldn't complain, if it wasn't WoW they'd just be talking about basketball which is more tedious by an order of magnitude.

How did that happen? Was he afk for 2-3 hours? Or did you crit him for 19 dmg when he was almost dead?

@Dondrei: Play the game :grin: Though talking/listening to WoW talk all day everyday would be boring.

When you die you respawn in a graveyard that's closest to your body. You have two options at that point. The first being have the spirit thing revive you with a penalty of durability points (which cost money to repair) from your armor (both equipped and in your bags), and the second being to find your body on your own without having a penalty. There are markers on the minimap to show you which way to go to get to your body.

Until you have your body back you stay as a spirit - it's neat to see them float across water. :grin:




I was just thinking about the patch download I started, and I hope the firewall doesn't try to block it again. I wont be there to allow it to continue. :tongue:
