And as far as reparing duribility goes, it gets more expensive as you move into using better quality gear. I've had repair bills in the 19+gold range. Usually after taking a beating in a instance, and wiping a few times.

try totally demolishing your t6 gear at lvl 70... i've heard it hurts.. alot...

I'm not nervous. I blame it all on forum lag. Yeh...that's it.
 
True, and even more so on a WoW patch day.

This applies to both these and the WoW forums.

It all comes down to increased traffic because Blizzard's main site is overburdened. The effect is seen somewhat less on these forums though.

huh? i dont get how these servers would be affected by Blizzard, unless you huys are a mirror site for downloading...

Tuesdays are realm down days in WoW, server maintenence and the occasional patch. There is always increased internet traffic to Blizzards site on a maintence day. The increased traffic slows down Blizzards site so people come to the WoW forums which get bogged down due to the increased traffic overflow that ca't gt into Blizzards site. Same thing happens to this site but not as bad as on the WoW boards because this is a DII site.

It's all server capacity issues.

Things have gotten better on our end because the servers that run this forum and the WoW one are newer now.


Also, on today's patch .. It screwed something up on my end and the repair tool dialog came up. Once you see the repair tool prompt for WOW during a patch you are usually screwed. I tried it and it did not work. Only other option that I can do is a complete reinstall.

I'll be out until over the weekend.

You don't have a choice if you want to be able to log on.


I didn't have any issues with mine that I am aware of, considering it was doing it while I was at work. The only thing left when I got home was a smaller patch that took less then ten minutes to download, but when I was able to log in Llane wasn't available yet so I had to wait another half hour to play anyway. :tongue:

But then I didn't even play when I logged on. I chatted with a couple people that were online, then I sort of just logged off and didn't go back today. :undecided:

I am also very much looking forward to getting badges from Kara, the downside of patches are that all add-ons are screwed.....



 
He needs his own planet. Doesn't need to have much of an atmosphere; I'm sure he can produce enough gas solo.
