If they are slightly poor or weak they almost always trade with us for better gear or we give them gear and they rapidly improve. I've seen it happen again and again. Regardless of what you say is true it does take "time" to make a good pvp pal hybrid build. Also I have never heard of anyone trading thier elite combat charms simply to help weaker pallys. Anyone can come in to Temple and follow the rules but will it be enjoyable if they get pummeled because the person has a superior setup. Where is the fun in that?
 
Ok After reading every thing that was posted. Also thinking about the only time that I dueled in temple. These are the questions and ideals that I have.

1. Ok there is some talk about letting other classes in to temple. What do I think? No, wait H*** NO, why simple shouldn't that ideal be posted in the player vs player forum? Not in the pally vs pally forum.

2. Letting people use items that the people here feel are bad mannored, to some extent? No, wait H*** NO, why simple I being some one that use some of these bad mannored items. Knows very well about how these items can effect a duel. To restrect these items from this game is a good ideal. Giving people that come here a chance to learn the dueling tatics used by the people that duel in this game. So after learning these tatics they can go off and use them to beat other paladins out there. Food said it right the first time if you do not like it go some where else. So that way there is a balence of good mannored and bad mannored duelers out there. Even tho I do feel that having life tap casted on bolth duelers is the only way to be as close to 1.09 as you can get.

3. Is there a group 1 from what was asked from stoutwood asked yes. Could they compete in temple no. Why, simple I think that these kinds of people have been forced to duel for a very long time vs other classes. Forcing them to do things item wise and dueling tatics wise to the extrme right hand side. Where the people that duel in temple duel on the extrme left. Why do I have this opinion well I have been dueling for a good 3 years now, I win alot. I do loose from time to time. The day I went to temple I lost alot. So that made me think about what I do in a duel vs what you all do in a duel. I can not go in to much detail over this because I have only started thinking about this with out testing these ideals. I can not remaber the name of the poster but some one here said some thing about dueling vs 5 other paladins. Has that person with the same chareter ever dueled verse a group of barbs with the same result. I dought it with as little neg. add-a-tude twords the person as I can get. Have I done the same, no but I have done that verse 2 good barbs with the same results. With the same paladin that I used in temple that day. When I did do that game I was arrogant when I joined. Thinking what ever I'll beat all of the people that join easyly. After like 4 matches, I was stuck in wonderment. Right now I am thinking about doing 2 paladins offladder. One of them for dueling paladin vs paladin only the other for dueling every thing else. The paladin vs paladin will be good mannored. Because it is the most effective way to go to duel another paladin from what I have seen to this day.

I would like to end this post saying that this forum has some thing very good going for its self, very rare but very good. And it should not change. If it dies off so be it. But for Gods sake DO NOT CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hint: use 3combat/20FCR+ HOTO work better then wizardspike+Mara ... :idea:

Hrrmmm, I'm glad you know of everything that occurs in Temple games.

Especially since I sold over 20 combats +life to new and old temple people in the last few weeks that I played.

*EDIT* that's not counting the ones I gave away.

No situation changed because of ITEMS AND SINERGY. Now almost every class can deliver enouth damage to kill opponent in 2-3 hits - THAT is what make duel fun and dinamic. What a joke. Try to prove at all that the only class paladins were good against were bowazons. That's a ridiculous statement, and if anything, a bowazon with slow had the advantage. If you are going non bm/bug then eth technically wouldn't be allowed and therefore the paladin would gain a much needed edge. That statement on it's own shows how much you knew, or know. And how does one offset magic damage with the right gear?

Obviously my friend you NEVER dueled any 1.09 necros otherwise you would know that bone prison + IM was always death sentence for any melee chars.

I'm sure right now you are just playing a joke or pretending to be stupid, because you obviously know that I was referring to 1.1 dueling, indicated by the synergies I was quoting. Enough with the jokes already.

But we are talking not about Paladin vs. necro but Pal vs. Pal - allow ppl use rediculously overpowered skill in conjuction with damage enhancing gear not fair w/o allowing counterpart use any new LEGIT deffence items.
Oh btw speaking about weapon I am using its obvious - HOTO and since my buit is pure hammerdin I petty much cut@cookie built except I am not yet scavenged enouth wealth for enigma so using Naj's puzzler on a switch. Armor is upped Viper/Arachnids/Raven/Wisp/Dwarf (depend on eviroment), Magefists/HOZ/Natalya soul/+3 combat ammy/couple offence aura charms - maxed resistance in hell at least 15% absorb for any element except poison 8.9K hammers@75FCR (can boost to 125 if I need that) 6 frames FHR (28%FHR) about 1500 life and about 400-450 mana - pretty much it

270. Now that you have the second item. Go to act 5 in a game called boot me. Now in act 1 there will be some one that goes by the name of Xircon. Tell them that you are doing teh uber long dupe method.

"Elite" combats are 35 plus life in my opinion. The reason he gave you those is because he already had 10 35 plus combats. Otherwise he wouldn't give those out for free.
