O!M!G! Baal just gave me the fight of his life, spawning no less than 3 clones and having me run around like a loon.(Took me close to an hour to take the bastard down)

A contributing factor could be my low resists, but in the end I triumphed and made champion.
I will go and kill the cow king now!:laugh:

Finally found and upgraded a better set of armor and after upgrading my sword its much smoother for me. Was busy all weekend running a conccesion stand for the relay for life team I'm on, it was fun but cut into tourney time ah well. Finished a2 this morning be working on a3 tonight. and nicely done donutz and iron crown!

OnlyStrikes went after Diablo with Maxed fire resist, and put on an LR amulet to get that to 58%. He had heard that if you get close to Diablo, i.e. melee, the PLOD (pink lightning of death) would not hurt as much. Great plan. The first shot zapped him down quicker than I could move my finger to hit a purple. So did the second one. 3rd try he cast a bear on top of him, then ran around and hit him from the back. This seemed to work a little better..boulder, hack, hack, boulder, pot, hack, boulder, RUN AWAY! 3 trips back to town, 2 more deaths, and Diablo is no more. (Man, I suck! :embarassed: ) Finally, after cursing the very unremarkable collection of refuse and detritus left on the ground by Diablo after such an intense fight, OnlyStrikes hauled his resurrected tail to Harrogath. He hurled boulders at Schenk until he went toes up, offed Eldritch for posterity, and called it a night. Whew!

This has been a pretty fun character, my first Druid I've ever taken past L15 or so. It's kind of entertaining. I finally have some perfect gems, I'm going to socket a bow that I saved and see if I can get my damage up a bit...Right now it is beyond terrible. Don't know when I'll get back to him, my schedule just got screwy, but I'll work on it.

Tentpen finally killed the Cow King.

It was pretty slow going on p/8 but in the end made it without the merc. He kept getting swamped and dying instantly. Had to resurrect him for a boss with stone skin and FI. He kept regenning faster than me and the bear could hurt him. (O yes p/8)

My Skills were pretty weak, but I had a mean Grizzly with 2437 life that took huge beatings, especially with the cows.

Very fun 2 play, and would like 2 finish hell as a fire druid (not sure if it is possible).

As much as I would like to take credit for this, I only managed a solid second place behind Diablo Loves Donutz!:rolleyes:

Haha, thanks man, yea I almost gave up after I saw how far behind I was, but each act when I saw no one was really moving, that's when I really started speed playing lol.
 
Well the good news is that every person who completes it is the winner so you both have won so far,... gongrats to you!

doing pindleskin for some easy experience mostly, he only drops sorc orbs -_-
holy fire rocks atm :D doing 1040-1322 damage with upped and shealed Awl :) together with lvl 4 zeal my attack speed isnt too horrible, but defence and resists could definately be better. Anyway on to the ancients it is :D

edit: just killed baal, which was really easy, man was diablo a lot tougher :/ had to gulp 2 potions only. sadly then i got this....
Can't reach the portal :'(

Man A3 was so much easier than A2 dont know why(psst I think it may have been the lower player settings), well on to a4 hope its easier. By the way I started a2 on p8 ended on p4 started and finished a3 on p4

The Ancients were killing me, until Mawadc tried throwing axes through a piller to no effect at all, allowing my merc to kill him while I stood on the other side. Then it was easy.

Now Lister is working me. Resists are decent, but my armor, well, its Rattlecage. :undecided:

went to tristram, in the middle, all 3 sides where full of monsters, it was a true war, and cain ran out without being killed. Johnny is lvl 48

Played a little more and got the Viper amulet. Found a Magefist in the Ancient Tunnels, so at last I have a +1 to Fire Skills. Shortly thereafter I foumd a Cathan's Rule Staff - also with +1 to Fire Skills, but I'm not sure I want to run around with a two-handed staff.

Hehe, how did you think I got such a high MB?...Leaf staff the whole way through haha. I was hoping to get an ele mace or that 2 fire skills sword and use the lum i got off nm forge to make a splendor...but unfortunately never got the right weapon so, I stuck with the leaf.
