"The Moo Moo King Must Die" Tournament

I have a +2 MB antlers with 9% MF - still 22 defence, picked it up in A1 Normal. Cant get rid of it.

I also have a leaf Jo staff (TirRal) wich gives +3 fire skills.

I basically started maxing volcano after MB because of the 2% extra damage per skill point, hope to max all 3 before the NM cow king.
 
hehe just made an insight (some noob had dropped sol) and it got niiiice stats. Not perfect, but nice. clicky

I am using it because i plan getting an a5 merc and equip him with the eth blood letter. My boulder dmg was about 600, it got to 520

Made it to the river of flame WP. Pretty uneventful. After double rolling Izual, the way to the smith was packed with blood maggots:tongue:

Hellforge dropped me an Io.

@Babylink, very nice insight there..... I really have to get a better weapon for my merc. atm he is using some rare scythe with knockback, wich really isn't good for my slow boulder attack. He keeps on rescuing the enemy by knocking them out of the way of the boulder.
 
awww RWM? Well I guess I just gotta keep trucking it as a vanilla.

My gear btw is a leaf staff, a 1 ele skills rare pelt (although i got a 1 MB 2soc antlers that i plan to make a lore in when i get a sol), a 1 druid skills ammy i gambled, and some very sexy magefists...

Left the merc dead while clearing the chaos sanctuary due to a lot of OK casting IM.

And for Johnny...He saved Arya, and i began to do some pindle runs. I hope i can get a magefist from him...My merc is leveling very fast, as soon as i lvl up he does.

Went up to lvl 43 by pindle runs, then killed stuff to lvl 44. I didnt killed nilathak yet, because i want to do some more pindle runs. Pindle didnt gave anything interesting, besides Howltusk

Killed Baal, who dropped a Sanders Taboo -not much help. I'll run Pindle, Eldritch and Shenk a few times looking for items before I start Nightmare. I would like to get my boulder damage up - I currently have no + skills or + molten boulder items.

I also just killed Baal, and guess what it dropped. Sanders Taboo and Cleglaw's Tooth. Both are useless but what a coinsidence!!!

I did a few pindle runs to gain experience and i am ready to start NM tonight...

edit: changed stats for nac runo, for me baal dropped sexy magefists
 
Yea Just killed Andy in NM and rather than keep moving on, I'm going to mf the mess out of her. Drops look promising...and the ali baba she just dropped should help my mf as well :)

I'll keep you guys updated on what she drops

OnlyStrikes set out in Act 3, quietly musing on what kind of idiot makes a flail with 3 grotesque body parts. And then hides those parts in widely disparate areas. Meh. Enough musing on life's improbabilities. The Rogue merc and our hero keep plinking away with their remarkably under-powered bows. The Cleglaws gloves have knockback, so OnlyStrikes knocks the approaching monsters into a group towards which a boulder is rolling. Instant barbecue. Nothing much gets close. MB is a neat skill to use, look for choke points and block it off, and roll a boulder down it towards the baddies. OnlyStikes has MB maxed 1 point in Fissure and Firestorm, a few in volcano, and is now putting points in Summons to get a grizzly. A nice strong tank to collect and hold things in place while boulders approach, while the rogue and OnlyStrikes pepper the area with arrows. That's the current idea, anyway, though I'm sure it's going to prove remarkably short-sighted. OnlyStrikes reached the Lower Kurast waypoint and decided to rest for the night. No new finds worthy of mention other than a +1 druid elemental skills amulet, which I keep in stash in favor of my MF ammy at this point. Really, he's an underpowered character so far, but the strategy thus far has been very safe as well. Mephisto should be entertaining, I can see that already.

I read this thread and couldnt resist ^^ pally is now level 10 and never realised just how much damage holy fire added, very nice. On a side note i found Blood Gloves and Death's Sash :DDD

Jeeze NM is getting tough. I'm starting to lean towards playing /players1 for a while because MB on /players8 just isn't cutting it, even with decent gear. It's sort of like trying to decide when it comes to mf and killing speed. I think I'll keep /players1 on for req quest and progressing and I'll use /players8 for leveling areas. Whew...getting close though.

Man Pindle gave me nothing!!!!! Only 1 eth great maul.(steeldriver).
At least I got TentPen up to Lvl 73 an has MB and its synergies maxed.

Damage - 1058-1226

@Donutz - I couldn't even run pindle on p/8 had to go to p/6 for the majority of the runs. When I storm in there I have to cast the bear right in their faces behind the little wall otherwise they just knock him out of the door and me with him. MB is very underpowered in NM. I shudder to think what will happen in hell.
Btw, nice pick.....lol(very lucky!)

The ancients were pretty tough, but I found the wolves worked a lot better than the bear in seperating them. Takes quite a beating too. They spawned with teleportation, extra fast and then there was Talic.
He kept whirling out of the boulders way, not that it would have done any good.

Didn't lvl up but am close to 74, will happen before Baal.
