WalkingDead the Zon found a pair of rare gloves early which I felt boded well. She then found her first weapon, a ... short staff - oh joy! She was having real problems killing on the Cold Plains, particularly gargantuans, so I was forced to give up and gamble for a bow. My third gamble netted me this:

which I felt was a pretty good early weapon. Lightning damage plus the 1 pt of cold to slow everything down. At lvl 8 she hired Visala, a lvl 7 cold merc which helped a lot, particularly as Visala could tank better than she could. She then proceeded to clear out the Cold Plains and Hole (I think that's what it's called), killed Blood Raven and cleared the two tombs. She's now lvl 12 and has spent one skill point in critical strike and put one point into dex to use the xbow. All other points are unallocated. Unfortunately in all of that I saw not one rare. The gods are not with WalkingDead at this time.

) . It drove me nuts. Just to rub it in, I found 2 green belts, but still no yellows.
