BabyHell is correct, you can only use skills not rolled if they are charges.

Under clarifications:
8. CTC, Charges and passive skills granted from items are allowed. Activated class skills(Berserk, Firebolt, etc) and outside skills are not allowed.

No need to disqualify yourself, mistakes happen.

As far as I remember, +oskill were not allowed, because you are only allowed to use skills that were randomly chosen. I am quite sure about this (if not 100%).See, my thinking is: if I get Fireball as a skill rolled, I have to put points into Firebolt t o use it, but that doesn't mean I am allowed to use Firebolt. It looks the same to me with oskills. Just because I have a skill point in it doesn't mean I can use it.

Sorry to deliver the bad news!

Charges were allowed though, because the skill is stored on the item and you ate only activating it. At least that was the ruling previously.

Yeah, that's my plan. So far it is very easy. Chain lightning and a Prayer merc keeps me very safe.

Speaking of NM. It is only skills that gets rerolled, the equipment stays the same only the Exceåtional and Elite versions of it? So my buckler would mean I am allowed to also use Defender and later on Heater, correct?

You are allowed to use normal and exceptional and elite versions of your randomly rolled items in any difficulty, so you may already equip Defender in Normal and may still use it in Hell. Items don't get rerolled in newer difficulties.

Okay, I got done a bit early today so let us write this up. Shiv has managed to finish through Act2 and will begin her journey through the jungle, which is not paradise city even though Guns'n'Roses say so.

First to note is I haven't played in so long, I should have locked Dragon Tail once I saw I had Tiger Strike. Oh well. Hopefully NM rolls are feasible! So all my points are wishy-washy other than the 8 or so in Shadow Warrior who is a tanky beast.

I had one really close call early on:

Not sure how I made it through that, but I did. Once we grew in power, we made fairly quick and ultimately safe work of Duriel even on /p8 and was rewarded with nada:

Items to note so far are not much other than wearing some greaves. My one rare claw with a socket I tossed in a Ral for more fire damage early on. My goal is to keep a fairly high defense and weapon block along with an act 2 defensive mercenary to add massive Shadow Warrior defense.
