Erm, zeal works just fine with 2-handers, wheres HS does not ... so Vang will probably tell you to lose HS and get something more useful :grin:

so i can put one skill point into the prereqs for my skills... can i actually USE those prereqs

also how do i figure out what level i can gamble for a particular item?

Yes, you can only use the chosen skills, but you aren't required to use any of them.

But basically, you can "use" only passives that are prereqs and not actual skills

So far so good. Got no reall equipment and no clue as to how I'm gonna kill big D yet, but my magi are starting to deal decent damage even for players 8 and I havent had any close calls yet. Hoping to find a demon head soon so I can start rerolling it for +skills
 
Quickdeath:

Can't you throw javelins and then repair the stack at Charsi's (and as it's a starter item, repair costs are just about zero)? And it will never go down to zero -- you just won't throw your final javelin. You've only got the one usable stack, so you may not want to be throwing the whole time, but if you go through the stack once between each visit to town I'd guess your killing speed would go up quite a bit.
 
@aitrus, actually that is close, but since he decided to not reroll the axe, and stuck with a twohander, the Holyshield was automatically rerolled your roll, Charge.(Now technically.. it if he wanted to keep holyshield he could have and used it with his starter axe on switch, but I don't think anyone would want to do that.)

So Dandelano you still are able to reroll a skill of choice if you desire.

Haven't been able to play much. Just wanted to get Sara the Barb on the list. He's still in act 1 using his trusty Hand Axe. Slow going so far I may rethink the players 8 since I just keep dying anyway. Vang has pulled ahead on the death race I better get busy.

Well..since I got 3more days left of vacation, figured why stop now..Greven weaved his way through Act1 with a gemmed club until he found this thanks to Grizwold:

Poison Creeper is actually really effective early on and the camps of fallen and shamans fall quite fast, once I got a couple prereqs filled and hit level 18, rabies kicked in quite nicely with a level 11creeper synergy. A couple hawk helms dropped and I stuck with the one with the +2 lycan so I wouldn't be transforming every minute(just every minute and a half) Onto act2!

Think he meant Heavy Belt.

As for armor and helmet, have to use what your allowed to use. Mercs are allowed to use their own weapon because they know what they are proficient at, while you know how to protect them better.

Just started :)

Edit: I've been reading about assasins and I think this will be a lot of fun and I've been really lucky. Fade is offcourse fantastic. And shadow master too, because of this skill, I also have the passive skills, and Shadow master can use al skills so could be very good! Also just gonna have fun with the two blade skills, I've just been reading some guides about them, and they are not as good as fury, but they will be fun.
Lastly psychic hammer: It will get one point as prerequisite for master, and i think that will be it :)

I'm somewhere in the black marsh now and i want to thank Grisu very much for this nice roll. I cannot find any guides which use sentinel, but it is a great skill. The reason why it isn't used is that it cannot OW/CB/leech and so on, but I like it.
Also psychic hammer seems to be very usefull, because it gives me more crowd control which will be needed later. I will not go for melee, so at the end I will just cast sentinels while i keep my master safe with psychic hammers. I hope I can cast sentinels faster once i've some ias, i can't find this anywhere and cannot test this yet.
