OT: The SPF Mafia Game Round Three

I'm voting for one of the three non-posters (Drixx, Neksja, Jaedhann). Waiting for them to voice an explanation.

Well, i can explain through the last time i played. Everyone i voted for got murdered, so all of them where townies. And it kinda got me lynched aswell. I basically have nothing to add to the game at this point. No clues found, no nothing. So it's just better to shut up this time and start reading very carefully. Just a change of style for now.

Don't take any meaning from this, but I'll explain why sint hasn't posted, he said he had a family emergency and would be gone sunday and I think monday.

Also, I'm still looking for someone to play the mafia game. If no one volunteers, maybe the first person to die could fill in?

Noodle had the same explanation for being mafia last round and I ignored my gut. This time I'm going with it.

vote Jaedhann

Sorry I keep targeting you Jae, hopefully I'm right for a change:wink:

Well, Rashiminos just jumped way up with his vote. Lister and Habs too, for the same reason, though not quite as much. Thyiad has been at the top for her early accusations being thrown around, and RevenantsKnight was higher up, but is moving a little further down. Jaedhann, Drixx, and Neksja haven't said a word today, and that's very suspicious to me. Sint hasn't either, but he was around with the noisy crowd last night, so he's a little less suspicious.

I'm not voting just yet, it's still too early to tell much of anything, and I'm still not convinced one way or the other if we should lynch someone.

No one should be surprised that I'm voting for a lynching, I said the day should not end without one, and I'm having serious questions about the value of certain abstaining players (you're playing into the mafia's hands..).

Sounds like a nice idea, the only drawback being that that person technically knows too much (since (s)he know what his/her former role was, something the new role in all likelihood does not know).

To those who said Sint had posted anything, that was in reaction to a typo by Water_Moon who in her turn reacted to the rules discussion going on outside (mostly Brak and me asking questions) which we should have done by pm since the night had already started even if the questions were quite general.

 Wow, somebody has a short fuse, like ones with Mediterranean blood (heh). However, I won't vote you back because you're on my list of obvious townies along with Thyiad, Cygnus and Muzzz (and myself ). Though it does seem most of you people disagree on this list, fine by me.

Half the day is over already (at least I think it is because I don't know it's being extended), and I thought a change of pace was called for...

So, why are those people obvious townies again?

Just like Smeg mentioned, it would be bad if the dead person knew more than the new role does.

I could fill in, but would be unavailable from Friday 9am to Sunday evening (no idea when exactly). That might be just too much time away.

Moar is taking Neskja's place. Like he said, he will be unavailable from friday night to sunday night, so don't make that a cause for suspicion against him.

Also looking for another person to replace Drixxx.

Hi there!
I just moved to this lovely town and still have to unpack the moving boxes.
I'll reread the discussion before commenting in some hours.

I might just as well ask you why am I an obvious mafioso. The answer is quite simple. Gut. My choice of words wasn't perfect, I admit that (btw, isn't this a wonderful excuse for anything in this game), I could be wrong about those people. Nevertheless, I have a feeling in my gut that they are not part of the mafia.

As it seems to me that all the people who been able to say something have already done so, it is time for me to cast my vote before I go to bed.

vote Sir Lister of Smeg

Reason:

Wasn't it already gone through in the last round that not lynching isn't doing any good for the townies. To reiterate that, no opportunity to lynch a mafia member should be wasted, because the more murders there are compared to lynchings, the more likely it is for the mafia to win. We all have a brain that we can use to identify mafiosi, use it. The chances to nail a mobster isn't 13%, it's higher because you can surely identify some people as non-mafiosi (yourself, at least). Latter also goes for village idiot.

Also, you have been suspecting muzzz for one remark that was just poorly expressed. There had been discussion about muzzz missing the pm containing his/her role in the game. I'm certain s/he was referring to that in the post.

I find it highly unlikely that you would be the village idiot, making it easier for me to vote you than GoHabsGo whom I also suspect, partly for the same reasons as you.

*takes over a nice potted plant as a house warming gift*

Doesn't this town have such a lovely view? It's such a nice place, not at all like smelly old Chicago. For some odd reason everyone seems up in arms about there being a group of disorganized, orgainzed crime here, but of couse we haven't seen anything to even give a hint of that. A few folks have even called for lynchings! Can you imagaine that? They must be mad. I wonder if they have something to hide. (VOTE: NO LYNCHING)

And last night the doctor was up and running about town quite late, but then dorctors do keep odd hours I guess. Well I'd best leave you to get settled in but feel free to stop by any time. Ciao!

Well it looks pretty likely that either Neksja (now Moar) or Drixx are the crooked detective.

Gonna go with Moar on this one as it seems a role is more likely to get replaced than a non-role

unvote Jaedhann
vote Moar

It might be appropriate to let Moar catch up in the thread and make comments before ousting her...

Vote water_moon

Either both she and goltar are mafia or townies. The fact wm is supporting no lynching, a tactic that favours the mafia, I believe she is mafia.

I'm so curious how everyone is getting so much information from nothing Teach me how to do this please! I will forever be indebted to you!
