I won't make it that far, if I make it to Day 4, I'm going to lynch myself out of mistrust.
Why stress out so much? I'm just going to prepare a list of pre-determined statements and jokes, and each time I need to post, choose one of them by rolling a dice.

Funny. I use that tactic for almost all my posts. First, the magic eight ball.

OH good, it's not too full of bizzare wierd game effects and the days should go by quickly, but may I please make the suggestion of at least 1 post a "day" as opposed to one per 24 hours? By definition everyone would be forced to night kill themselves the first night....
hmm, just inspired by an interesting thought. What if there were a "daily" max posts? Say something nice and high like 10, but a way to limit the converstion take over that results in normal folks giving up on reading the 16 pages written in the last 20 minutes. It might even force people think about what they post rather than just triple posting.
ps. I'm in, sendign e-mail later today though, unless the pm.s count :hopefulsmile:?

The main problem and also the thing that pretty much puts a stopper to the plan of having max posts (IMO) is that you will always have to calculate in advance. People will take advantage of it by pushing others to answers or waiting quite a bit and talking more later in the day when others may have used up most of their posts. Even with a max of 10 posts you have to save what.. 2 or 3 in case of an emergency, expect to use 1 or 2 at the start of the day to get things going, then 2 or 3 if you have suspicions on someone, 1 or 2 to fend some people of your back.. and then suddenly someone claims cop.. you just used ~8/10 of your posts.. should you participate in this turn of events?

I have a simple way to deal with excessive spam in these threads. I don't read it.
So before you post 84 times think ... TLDR.
Make a post with a point, it'll get read. Make 14 .. not a hope. :smiley:

I need at least 50 posts a day to gather the most liq-hating antagonists I can. Oh, and just to pour salt in the wound, anyone that can't keep up is going to branded as "inactive" or "low-lying mafia" and dealt with accordingly.

Of course, I won't be forcing anyone to post at night. But the antagonists need to talk at night, which only lasts for 24 hours. Therefore, anyone who can only check in once each game-day (48 hours) would be a severe burden to those groups.
I did consider that for a short time, but decided it wouldn't fit with the rest of the rules. Given enough interest, I might try to host a round of "lightning mafia" at some point. 20-24 hour days, 2-3 posts per person per day max, mandatory voting. I think not knowing when exactly the day ends + dying if it ends before you vote = enough to prevent serious "camping" of posts. Methinks it would be interesting, but better suited to a simpler set of rules.
And eh, I wouldn't have enough players if I banned the PMers. But I prefer receiving emails, so that neither of us have to worry about your PM box getting full.

Curious to see what kind of role I could get. Perhaps a cute little girl by day, turining into a vicious werewolf undercover policeofficer who hunts those careless dogowners who let doggiedoo litter the sidewalks without cleaning it up.
