Introduction
David is a sequel to Lemmy in many levels.
Between the characters I also moved one idea I had into execution - I'm trying to do a Sept around Zod God items.
As the title also tells, this is now the second part of that journey.
Idea for the build
David planned to use Bonehew as a weapon. Pretty hurty stick on its own, let alone when perfect and ethereal, but I wanted to go a bit further to maximize its potential.
First of all, it has 50% Chance to cast level 16 Bone Spear on striking. Every other hit landing casts a Bone Spear? Okay, why not go ahead and synergize it...
Secondly, I hadn't done full Titan build yet, and for some reason this felt like a right time to try it out. Full strength it was, then.
Rest were kind of built around these two starter points, as I best saw to fit the needs.
End result
Let's take a look what kind of LCS numbers I achieved:
I chose to not use Call to Arms at all, because I needed Enchant charges from Demon Limb regularly. To make up for the loss of that little life, I put some 1.07 cheese into a use; my armor was Arkaine's Valor with it's huge +Vitality.
Some little tinkering was made in order to achieve the dexterity for Bonehew without putting any actual points in dex. I was able to go 100% with str, nice.
As for the skills, after maxing the synergies for Bone Spear I opted to go without summons, cause I felt I was too short of skills to get them while having the necessary curses. So I put some extra points for the two most used skills: Decrepify and Dim Vision. Bone Armor was at an OK level after all the skills in different bone skills, so that was cast all the time also when meleeing. Some Bonewall was also used, but not too much. Should I have chosen to play with higher players setting, I'm sure I'd have needed it much more to survive.
Gear, skills, stats, etc:
Faith Mercenary allowed me to achieve 11 FPA normal attack (well, ofc) and gave me some damage and especially some much needed AR.
I also had Gore Riders stashed, which I only used once (Hell Baal).
Journey
Big part of the journey, from being Absolute Beginners to a level of total Diamond Dogs is already shared in my Sept thread.

What I didn't mention was that a little leveling phase was made after entering Hell. Arkaine's and CoA needed some more levels, so I re-spec'd to a Pit running Poison Nec for that. Apart from that I played according to the build (well, kind of, as I was a caster until lvl 69). Corpse Explosion was not abused apart from the Hell leveling session.

Double Boss pack!
I knew the greatness of DV beforehand, but during this playthrough I learned to appreciate it even more. Such a wonderful tool to have.
Ookay, let's take it easy. Waves were done without huge problems. Diane had to be resurrected a few times though. I think these got her and also wave three, that had Conviction.. Baal was easy, as Decrepify pretty much shuts him from using too much of his skills. I played all the Act V with P1 settings, I think. Outside areas had a lot of skeleton archers, mages and slingers. Dim Vision was used a lot. No deaths in this act.
Aftermath
Meleemancer was a nice change of pace to my usual builds. Despite his OK life, DR,damage numbers, and couple nice curses, he was a bit fragile at times. That made his playing a bit slower and more careful than the basic "rush in and smash" melee toons I've had.
I didn't calculate how much damage lvl 16 Bone Spear does with full synergies. Probably not so much, but it was a nice little addition to the build anyway.
I could see me doing something similar again, but maybe trying something different like having some more company as meatshields, maybe bigger and better curse arsenal as well.

Meleemancer was a nice change of pace to my usual builds. Despite his OK life, DR,damage numbers, and couple nice curses, he was a bit fragile at times. That made his playing a bit slower and more careful than the basic "rush in and smash" melee toons I've had.
I didn't calculate how much damage lvl 16 Bone Spear does with full synergies. Probably not so much, but it was a nice little addition to the build anyway.
I could see me doing something similar again, but maybe trying something different like having some more company as meatshields, maybe bigger and better curse arsenal as well.
