15 - Summon Grizzly ... not a great start for your Druid :(

Baal is down for me so need a Damnation in return.

Act5 was a lot harder than the previous acts, both Bloody Foothills and Frigid Highlands had Slingers, Crystaline Passage had Snakes and the Icy Passage had Gloams + Succubi. I quickly decided to dump 5 points into Dim Vision and suddenly my life was a lot easier. Gloams in particular with Dim Vision are no longer a threat. Slingers are still annoying though.

I completed Act 5 at players 8 full clears (with the exception of some of the open maps with slingers). Picked up a Duriels Shell and an Ist in the act. The shell went straight on the Merc and is definitely helpful with all the cold guys in Act 5.

Throne Room had undead dolls and gloams, but again DV nullified the threat. I was careful to clear most of the bodies with RS in the Throne room to avoid them being re-summoned by wave 2. Lister and Co were killed at /p8 and liberal use of decerepify.

Baal just did Baal things with Decrep + Clay Golem and constantly interupted is own attackers. I just sat there casting decrep until he died.

@Jcakes No I didn't. I hit 30 before going to Act 4 and tossed a point in it to have the passive, but I reset in Act 2 after the werebear lockout and went elemental druid.
 
Could someone roll my Normal damnation from Duriel? So far only Cobra Strike is damned.

Karrin made her way all through Act II and her time estimations were good - 2 hours 40 mins for the Canyon of the Magi and false Tombs (my estimate was 2.5 hours), total of 8 hours in Act II.

I sport a whopping 181% MF plus 65% from my merc and I was rewarded with a Crushflange...and 2 TP Scrolls from Duriel...

I gambled a nice circlet for Karrin, which is better than a helm with 2 flawed topazes, if only barely:

I decided to leave Fire Blast at level 9, because if it got banned, it would only give me additional shots for DS but nothing else. I instead invested the points in Lightning Sentry (5) and Fade (1) and Shadow Warrior (1). Of course, that leaves me open to bans on Charged Bolt Sentry and/or Shock Web, but I still am not sure if I will go pure trapper or partially with Shadow Master...I will let your rolls decide it :)

Karrin, level 28 trapper, Normal Kurast Docks next.

I will post the videos later, but I doubt there is much interest as long as I am in Normal difficulty :)

Man, you all are leaving me in the dust! Congrats @Vang! Your gear was very impressive, I'm quite jealous.

And so, last we left Terra, she had just vanquished normal Diablo and was forbidden to use Guided Arrow. Act V started out a little bit slow, higher monster health combined with a rare bow that was mediocre at best. Ironically, the best item Terra found in Act V was probably this ring:

That ring doubled her mana and made the high mana cost bow skills quite bearable. She also discovered that one point in Freezing Arrow (coupled with level 6 Pierce) is enough to absolutely massacre everything in normal. For most of Act V, Freezing Arrow was her main skill, with Multishots sprinkled in to apply mass poison. She found her first Amn rune (I believe in the Frozen Tundra) and faced a dilemma between making an Edge bow and upgrading a normal rare to exceptional. She managed to gamble two potential rares, though upgrading them wasn't likely to make the bow much more impactful, so she went with making Edge in a Razor Bow. This was definitely the right choice, the 35% IAS turns her into a Gatling gun. Mobs simply melted in front of her.

As far as magic finding, I rarely have the patience to shop an Artisan's Great Helm from Larzuk, and this character was no different, but I always check when I visit him just in case he is stocking them, and lo and behold! Terra got lucky and bought a 3os helmet. She stuffed it with 2 perfect Topaz, and is holding off on adding a Flawless. Will wait to cube to a perfect. And it seems that her new helm is paying off!

Not really that great, but cool to find on a bowazon. Less than a minute later, she finds a much more usable bow!

I've annotated where she found the Stormstrike, it was nearly the next mob that dropped the Wizendraw, and quite a good roll too, -31% Cold resist! I tried it out, and it's decent, but not as good as the Edge bow. Perhaps if she gets steered more into the cold skills, it will see more use. The only other half decent item she found in Act V was courtesy of a lone Death Lord.

It was a Nokozen. Will keep it for Diablo fights I suppose. After that, she cleared out the throneroom, all of Baal's minions were easily killed on /p8, but I dropped it down to /p3 for Baal.

She's currently level 48, and I have 8 skill points unspent, don't really want to waste them. I was considering putting them in Cold Arrow to synergize Freezing Arrow, but Baal damnation won't hit Cold Arrow, so I'm safe there. The rest of the passive skills, I have them at the bare minimum I want them. I considered pumping up Decoy in case it gets hit, but if it does, I'll likely use a seal on it, but we'll see! Need my Baal damnation!

Vang had not abandoned the summoning tree entirely, as one can see on the hotkey bar with dire wolves as F5 😅

Lone Fury wolf re-respec... in NM? If Baal doesn't hit hard too.

That's an awful damnation start, losing all meatshields and Werebear cuts a lot... :-/

I have to check how to display the shortcuts, I didn't see that!
I did go full elemental with a couple in dire wolves when I used a respec. Not sure strategy now. I'm half debating on taking an item roll so I can re-evaluate my Druids life.
