In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread ifr

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Unless I counted wrong, I see the votes as:

Asrrin: 4
Bad Ash: 3
ITY: 1
Noammr: 1

Asrrin was dragged off to be lynched, as he was dragged away to be lynched, he suddenly had a very strange look in his eyes.

RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!!! I AM LOCUTUS OF BORG! YOU WILL ADAPT TO SERVICE US!!! He yelled.

Asrrin was lynched and after the death spasms passed, his arms and legs twitched and moved of their own accord and a mechanized humming was heard from Asrrin.

He was Locutus of Borg, the leader of the Borg faction, anti town.

It is now night, if you have matters to discuss with me, get on it.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I'm going to put a hold on the night for a bit, as I need some feedback from the rest of you.

I think I screwed up in the final vote count, it should have been 5 to lynch and 6 to lock...which means that today would have been a no lynch.

I revealed Asrrin's role and if he should not have been lnched then the game should be stopped as it can't finish as it should.

Comments from everyone playing? - dead or alive.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Yeah, this game needs to end in a draw, I somehow figured this was going to happen on account of Bad Ash mispelling my name in a vote.

and for the record, I was indeed silenced.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

You got 3 choices as far as i see it.
1. End the game in a tie.
2. Let the lynch go and hope for the best.
3. Give Asrrins role to someone else.

Hope that helps, and dont feel too bad about it, poo happens.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Ah, I was wondering what happened there (don't sweat it btw, mistakes happen).
Up to you how to proceed but I think the game is kinda broken beyond repair. :(

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

My suggestion: declare a win for the largest remaining anti-town faction (include Asrrin as being alive). For a second no-lynch day, the town deserves to die

Oh, and ...

Vote: Zhao_Yue

Just to be sure.

Edit: That Krazeyivan twist when he went nuclear ... pure class, I laughed out loud when I read it. Excellent.. (Silly people voting to lynch an obvious bomb-type character. LOL)

2nd Edit: Don't feel bad, Gorny, could happen to anyone and the game was thoroughly entertaining, even after my early exit :)

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I was silenced also- guess yesterday was double day.

I think we can continue the game Spuds already won anyway. Unless people disagree.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I think ultimately it's up to Asrrin, however if it's going to be set to a vote, I motion it to be a silent vote (PM to Gorny) so others can't make assumptions about people based on whether they want the game to end or not.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

dude, seriously, i thought you were still doing the "Person with the most votes" thing. well.... im not sure exactly. im fine with whatever choice is chosen. and mistakes do happen. :) it's ok. To err is to human....something like that.

it's probably best to end the game. i wouldn't give the role to someone else bcuz everyone now knows that there is a confirmed Borg Leader, ya know? i mean, we had hunches and all, but nothing was confirmed nor denied and that just doesn't seem right/fair in my eyes. *shrug* if this does end in a draw, gg, y'all. it was fun. ^_^

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

well technically yes, spuds and krazey may share a win in this game if it ends as a tie for town/anti-town, still doesn't matter much for everyone else though.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I think you need to vaporize anyone that could kill three people at once jk ,end it in a draw.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I second Mara's post - either leave it up to Asrrin or make a pm voting on it.

Don't really care who gets to be the winner if the game has to stop, Spud (and probably Ivan I guess >:-/) will be the only ones that really won.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Out of all fairness, I'm going to end it in a draw between the town and The Mafia...er well there were no mafia at all. The Borg were the main villians and were a hybrid mix of mafia and cult. There were no seperate factions. Of course Spud and Ivan share a win for pulling off what they did.

Asrrin and ITY really were both silenced. There was a bit of interference from various game roles during the night.

I'll let you reveal your roles and post a summary later on.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I was Lore - data's better side I could control data if I found him and was able to control him and could also kill on Odd nights- If Asrrin hadn't been lynched I was going to kill him tonight anyway as I believed he was pretending to be silenced and trying to lynch me so the game wouldve continued as is just without the lynch role reveal.

I was an independent Anti-town

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I suppose I'll go first (EDIT: owned by ity):

Miles O'Brien - TNG
As far as I can tell the character just transports people to and from the enterprise.
Somehow that meant he was a pro-town silencing role :P

On Day 0 I was recruited by Asrrin to be a borg drone, upon recruitment he received my ability to silence people and we used it every night since. He also tried to recruit Zhao (think about it, asrrin, zhao, and I, an incredibly delicious combo!) but zhao was immune. Further investigating led me to believe he was Species (enter 4 digit number), which happens to be the only biological entity immune to borg.

I do have to say, I'm a tad offended when Ankeli suggested I would be an easy lynch. Made me a bit of a sad panda :(

Was I right about spudnik or was someone else data?

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

It was me who killed you Mara - Borg scum!!

Wanted to get peoples suspisious of Ank and Zhao- I did see a link between you and Asrrin so I kinda figured he'd be Borg too.

Edit:Zhao was data

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

I was indeed R2D2. Post restricted as shown. Was also immune to lynch and 2 nks, which is why I was planning to go after Bad Ash if he was still around once we finish lynching the more obvious scum.
Bad Ash - what was your role?!

I also had a wide variety of items I could use at night, none of which did anything as far as I've seen.

Mara - I think Zhao was shown to be Data? Spuddy was faking in order to get nk'ed.
