I think udgard mistyped here. If you feel your life is too low add points to Lycantrophy, not werewolf. Werewolf just gives bonuses to attack speed(which actually doesn`t matter much) and AR. Personally I would just put points into Fury until maxed.

Ya I hate to burst your bubble but you might wanna redo that character, First thing you should to is prepare for duriel/diablo those are the hardest bosses at the time. You shouldn't res you merc, it costs too much money it's better to buy tons of healing pots, open a tp as soon as you start to fight him, when you see him to red lightning/hellfire run away from it and keep running around him, when it stops start hitting him again. Took my hammerdin like 5 minutes to beat him and he had decent gear.

From what I understand its all online, and you can chat to other players. Why would you play single player when you can play battlenet? Is their some bad points about battlenet that I dont know about

The sorceress is my favorite character class. The paladin is my least favorite character class.
No rational reason, really. Both are fun to play. You can read some guides or Mat/Pat threads to get ideas.

I am going to make a sorceress account for single player, but will do multi player ocasionally. I do not understand how it all works but I know that I lagg like anything in battlenet, and do not like the fact that I can complete quests without doing anything.
I am thinking of making a cold sorceress. Maxing out frozen orb and max warmth. All other skills will be one. What do you guys think?

Well, especially for "beginners" I would recommend in a hybrid sorcerer.. My sorcerer uses mainly cold + fire ball.. I liked blizzard more than frozen orb. (Especially in combination with my +3 cold skills, +2 blizzard staff it's powerfull)..
Training warmth is discusable (Is that correct english?) - You could always use a potion or 2.. However I did train it to 10 (stupid), but a bit faster recovery might help you for the non-continuous speels (blizzard and the like).
Also make sure you train teleport as soon as possible, it's a godsend..
Distributing points should be mostly to vitality, but again some defense always helps.. Anyways I recommend reading a bit about other sorcerers, and going 2-tree-hybrid.. (And I prefer to go cold / fire)

For starting your next char i advise you read "Beginner's Guide to Build Selection" by Mursulis. Pick any of character there that you think enjoyable and read the guide linked there.

Hi all.
I am thinking of making a fishymancer. From what I've read so far, they let their summons do all the work and just sit back. Do they do any melee? Or do they just sit their and let the summons do everything.
I would like to make a necormancer that has summons, but also does damage himself aswell.

There are ways to make your fishymancer more proactive.
Cast curses: Amplify Damage for most situations
Decrepify against really strong monsters and bosses
Attract & Dim Vision against packs of strong ranged attackers
Then there's Corpse Explosion, which will clean up as soon as a corpse goes down.
It's not exactly a Martial Arts Assassin, but it's not like you'll be sitting back and drinking beers while you just watch.

I am level 8 act 1 normal mode. Should I be playing in players 8?
I understand players 8 is better drops, better exp, harder monsters. Is players 8 the faster way to level up at my level?
Monsters will take alot longer to kill so im not sure if it will make a difference?
Also, ive got a few items, cathans seal and angelics halo for example.
Some of these items say replenish life 6%. How does this work?
Does it replenish your life 6% faster?
Does it replenish 6% of your current life in intervals of 10 seconds?

This is a very good guide.
I'd recommend a Meteorb sorc. Meteor and Frozen Orb are the main skills with Fireball helping out also.

I play Normal and Nightmare on /players8 (except for bosses usually). Then I drop to /players1 on Hell difficulty. You'll level a lot faster, and even though it's harder, it's worth it.

It is replenish life 6, not replenish life 6%. It replenishes an additional fixed amount of life for each point in replenish life mod total you have. The complete calculations is in the statistics forum guide library if I remember correctly, but I'm too lazy to find the link rite now xD

What would be the quickest and easiest way to get a polearm that a level 40 with 120 strength can use, that has a decent amount of life leech per hit.
Im thinking rune words, skulls, or buying one from someone else.

My mercs never have needed life leach untill the end of nightmare, if yours do, it's probably a sign you're killing too slow, and you should try finding yourself some better gear, rather then your merc imho.
That said, malice is a very nice weapon for a low level merc, wich should get you trough normal and nightmare using the right base. for life leach tal's mask is a cheap option, but it requires level 66, wich you're not yet.
I might've got some nice gear for you, but your trade thread isn't following the rules, among others you do not have a trade profile. please read the rules, make a profile and update your thread accordingly, and i will probably be able to trade you some nice items
EDIT: And now we can see a very good reason for following the rules: i can't trade with you, as i'm fam and you're vanilla
