Andariel down, took a while due to my low damage but she didn't actually hit me once.

Had my first NDE - tried to tank the Smith, I thought with max block and 30% or so Evade I would be ok... I was fine until one hit came through which nearly killed me! A rejuv sorted that though and I went back to being ranged having learnt a lesson :laugh:

Time for bed now though, will hopefully get some time in tomorrow - I still need to do 800 Pindleruns though so I need to get them out of the way before seriously starting on this.
 
quick update:

char is on my laptop and not with me so yeah, not quite sure what stats are - i'll update soon with that info Had a boring day at school so did some running around looking for all sorts of helpful things and durry was no problem - have now made a edge bow that is rocking everything, somehow found lots of amythests/rubies ( chips and flawed)all over mostly in the false tombs - so much that with the help of gem shrines/cube have created atleast two, maybe three perfect amythests( do more gems fall in HC??) found a nice 3 OS sup. breast plate and for getting the gidbinn (spelling??) Ormus have me a great ring! plus 5 str and resist lit mod on it !!!( think str is around 60-70ish with rings helm, charms and all) council fell to my wrath no problems, just need to make an ancients pledge in a kite shiled and then i'm off for mephy!
Oh an i'm currently rocking with 50-70% MF, it seems more gems have been dropping out of urns and tree trunks( moved up to lower kurast)
Have not done too much actual leveling yet, i'm in the high 20's but i need more goodness, since my life is about 175-200, might wait for 30 to fight mephy just for the extra body
But all in all, this char is more fun to play then i first thought, not a glass cannon more like a glass peashooter because i don't kill much my merc does most of it

Hp_Sauce got me to sign up for my first tourney. AmpleDextrous is in the StonyField with 77dex. Corpsefire was nice enough to drop a Pelta Lunata, beginers luck I guess. Have to say having max dex early on is a lot of fun. I can stop to ID items with about a dozen monsters around me. Guess that'll be changing soon.

Finally got the cube tonight so now I actually have some room in my inventory, woot! I got into a pack of Spear Cats on my way to the cube that amped me and then took about half of my life in 1 hit, needles to say I was rather unimpressed with my merc since he was busy standing in the corner while all this went down.

Still no really usefull finds, I'm wearing a magic sash, magic gloves, magic boots, magic shield, magic helm. My jav's are rare but only because I used my Imbue on them. However I did find a +20 mana ring which allows me to use about 2 more mana skills before "I need more mana."

I've got 3 more Mid-Terms coming up this week so I guess I will be studying more then playing for a bit, this makes me sad.

Got trough act 1 without any problems. Seriously, it was too easy. I tanked Andariel and afterwards killed her a few time to get to level 20. I'm not entirely sure about my dex because I have some +dex in my stash, but 125 should be a good guess. Let's hope act 2 will be as easy. :smiley:

Got trough act 1 but with a few nasty surprises; with little life and poor resists the energy attacks can really drain the bulb quickly. Anyway, have gotten to act 2 and found a new merc which seems to be quite good at attracting attention :-)

I haven't found very good equipment yet but a couple of runes. I have never actually used runes for anything (except selling), but I should probably look into it but for now they're stashed. Anyway, playing is fun but a little risky...

Just added myself to the table. Never gotten very far with a bowazon, so this will be a learning experience.
EDIT: Since most of the participants are giving up their tactics Ill give mine up as well. Im going for a multizon, relying on luck and rerunning to get far into the tournament.

just finished dancing with Andariel. So far, so good. I've found a few +3 str large charms, so maybe I'll be able to wear some better gear, should I ever find any.

I'm going to be one of the many who aren't making bowazons. Mine is a plague zon, or will be when the damage exceeds poison javelin.

Maybe I'll try a 'proper' glass cannon when this char dies (i.e. real soon now :-))

Andariel was surprisingly easy, CS made quick work on her and her poison didnt hurt at all.I Also found out that Nadir isnt very useful rite now - Repairing those charges cost 79k:shocked:

Kill-Zone killed Andarial after much running, and rehiring her rogue mercenary. As long as the mercenary was taking hits, I could do decent damage, but as soon as she came onto me, I had to run.

Radament was easy enough, with me improbed Mercenary being able to tank for me.

Going to take a little break, never liked Act 2 much
 
Before I do anything naughty, just wanted to clarify the ATMA rules. We cannot use ATMA for increased stash space in this tourney?

Yes, we can't use ATMA, you can mule items off for use with other characters later on but not for the tourney character.

Am I missing something? I didn't realize javelins had durability. A couple of sources I looked at don't show durability either. Why else would you repair them, except to replenish the stack?
