Glass Cannons -=- The Dexterity Tournament

Made some steady progress into act 3. Duriel wasn't that hard, but my arrows do less and less damage every new stage. I fear that the problem that has been mentioned before (not being able to equip new stuff) will indeed be a limiting factor. But so be it, I have seen harder tournaments.

Made a little progress again, Found two nice grand charms:
+5 strength, +9 light res
+6 strength, +20 cold res
The strength is very useful!

I use a composite bow now gemmed with a ruby and two empty sockets, strength is now 38 without rings or amulets that give strength.

Kill-Zone has just killed Countess, who dropped a Tal rune. Suprised the hell out of me, I was expecting an eld, or nothing, which is what usually happens.

Looks like Freakje got an early lead, and it looks like me an Toppo will be fighting for second.

That is absolutely correct. I see no fun in twinked tournaments. (There are a few very good exceptions of course)

I'm moving up slowly, need my decoy before facing durry, countess has been extremely nice to me...not finding many charms of str but have been getting life charms and resist charms, not too shabby....claw viper temple 2 - Two artic furs dropped, oh joy! would have been a lot more helpful in act 1 but i'll throw one on for the resists...no real troubles in act 2 but i want my decoy!! so they stop chasing me!!!:undecided:

Well I'm starting to get the tactic of Freezing crap and running away down pat! Although it doesn't work very well against Extra fast packs.

I just finished the Countess and she gave me El, El, El, Woot! I can't really complain though, I've been finding life and resist charms like mad for this early in the game, and in a strange coinsidence 2 Arctic Furs dropped for me also, only they were in the Hole Level 2 so now me and my Merc are twins for a bit.

I can't wait to get to Act 2 so I can buy a Merc that will tank for me rather then run away when I do!

Just finished Tristram, no notable finds, will probably push on and do some Countess runs tomorrow for some nice low level runewords. This isn't going to be easy, looks like one mistake will equal death with the amount of life we are all going to have :undecided:
