Riddle me this, riddle me that, who is the big black bat?
Now there's a riddle.
somebody can't readI don't know much about the books other than what I read on Wikipedia, but the thing that stood out to me was "shall we look at whback at what came before?" my understanding is that Roland has done this quest before. I'll have a harder read when I get home from work phone posting / reading is hard
Oh I'm sorry, your win has now been stripped.
The answer is easily found in the Wiki.
Reading or searching the books is not necessary for any advantage or part of the game, although folks more familiar with the story may derive more enjoyment out of the mechanics, characters and stories.
I'm feeling like I'm missing something with this story. The wiki is not much help; I can glean the very basics of what is happening in the world, but there seem to be giant gaps taken for granted in the wiki summaries. Also, the books seem to be all over the place; cyborgs, werewolves, Wild Wild West, psychics, vampires, hypnotism. Is this series trying to be all the fantasies tropes?
I'll show you stripped!
Ditto here. I like the first one quite a lot actually.Gunslinger may be early on his King's work, but he regards the opening line to The Gunslinger as the best line he's ever written. (P.S. I love The Dark Tower series and all of it's connections).
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.
Hey Drixx. Can anything be answered with spoilers to the story?
Better question since I am not trying to reveal the secrets of the game: Can the entire game be figured out without major character spoilers?
