I like Steam - it makes the affordable acquisition of video games much easier, and they auto update with patches and the like so you don't have to worry about it. Also, many games store a copy of your save games in a cloud, so that if you elect to play on a different computer, you can use your save games there as well.

Then wait until you plan on buying another game, and pick up steam then. They also have a lot of older games that for almost nothing, which I like because I finally have a computer that can run those games.
So seriously she is. She sat me down 20 minutes ago and said she was 'worried about me'. Her reason? I had a bag from a Boots store...
