you should level in an area within area/monsterlevel +/- 5. it doesn't matter if you or your merc kill (but i bet you kill faster than your moron). p8 is the best setting for levelling your merc.
when will we start hell? i dont know if i've time friday (i'll post here ;) ), but on saturday (i think i can host too).

Well, Yuna is sitting comfortably in the Rogue Encampment of Act 1 Hell, at level 75 and 1/4 roughly. She's wearing the full Tal Rasha's Set, as well as a Rhyme Superior Grim Shield, some Waterwalks, and Magefists, along with 2 MF rings. She does about 590-630 damage per FO, and 600-650 damage per Fireball. She also has 260 MF from her equipment, and 80/75/75/70 resists. I'm awaiting the next MP game tomorrow, although I'm not sure as to how my Friday will go, since I may be going to pick out a new car that day. :xgrin:
 
if the moron kills he gets more exp for it. sometimes its better to run him on players 5 or so, they don't seem to get such a boost all the time going players 8
 
No worries, I'll play with you even if I stop the xp project after 95 (I have no plans to do that). But please help me to resist the terrible temptation of starting a new char to try out in this business. I got this wonderful idea to a werebear. Yes, I've played one of these for this purpose and it didn't turn out well. But that was before I found my precious Bone Barb (my current merc weapon). It's not exactly BoTD but it's really, really nice. And so I thought...

Now, he would need a lot of resist charms and his leech would be awful. But he would reach 6fpa, the damage would be sweet and the wonderful Shock Wave... I'm seriously tempted. Please help. Perhaps I should give away all my items or something to stop me from doing things like this. Because when think about it I would like to do an Blade Fury assassin, I would like to pat a Wind druid, I would like to try out some new titan and dexbased builds, I haven't played Hammerdin since classic..... :xsnow:

Kefir, the way I look at it, the more projects you start, the less of the old ones you actually finish. Resist the temptation! :lol: Another thing, mind PMing me the stats on the Bone Barb? You've made me curious now. And that's a bad thing. :uhhuh:
 
Hi everyone I'm back

been away for a week (to Oxford, see if I can get a place)
haven't been able to play much the week before either, so I'm still around level 25 in normal...

won't be able to play much today or over the weekend either, due to a Birthday (mine) :xgift: :xparty: :clap:

I might catch up in a few weeks, although I'll be gone for over a week around new year as well

Kefir-Tribe... You can do what you want, if you make sure to play with us every weekend when we are pats/mats. :) I mean, you are already lvl 95! Slow down and have a break! It will take us time to get there, so start as many new characters as you want! That should make leveling TheLastHero not that repetitive, too!

Yeah, dunno... However, would you mind if I am some levels further? My merc is now lvl 56 so he already gets 99% of the exp in act 5. I do bloodruns and I think baalruns would speed things up... I intend to level him up to lvl 63. Then, if I have to level him up a bit after we played, I can start in hell...
 
Well i think mercs are a problem in MP, since they dont level anywhere near as fast as we do, so they always need to be leveled somewhere else.
Im lvl 76, merc lvl 73.
Tell you what reborn, just dont go above lvl 78, im sure we'll forgive you.
 
He is lvl 60 now. I will try baals, but I don't think I will level up that much... Not as fast as my merc, I hope... Just 3 more levels... :xman:

Edit: Done! And I'm only lvl 75 3/4...
 
Ouh, craap! My mother gets on my nerves: Tomorrow we will be in "Essen" (german town) the whole day and I will have to go with the others, because I haven't bought any christmas presents yet. My mother told me that some relatives want to visit us on sunday and I am writing a damn french test on monday. OH NO! She thinks I shouldn't play now and learn now, because I couldn't do it all on sunday and BLAH! CRAP! :rant: I don't want to learn for that **** now! I learned yesterday and everything, two tests in the last week and I looked forward to the WE that much. I hate it! DOOOH, can we start earlier or something? DAMN maybe I shouldn't even playna dsajfsdfls :rant:
 
Wooow, you need to stand up for yourself, and tell her you have a prior arangement tonight, and it cannot be missed! And tell her youve been working all week on the test and dont need any more work, until sunday, in which you remember you forgot to read about 1 thing, and do all the work then..
 
Hehe, lol. Would be a possibility, but I really need to learn for that crap, because I am not that good in that subject and I haven't learnt yet. This week I learned for the other tests. I dunno. Should we start earlier? Or should I learn now until 10 pm gmt? But I also can't stay up the whole night, because we are in Essen the whole day tomorrow... :(
 
I can play sorta any time tonight i think. but we cant rush ahead, because if others join later, they'll be stuck in act 1. up to you, depends on how much time you think you'll need to take out. Maybe it would be better if we wait for another hoster? then you could go at any time and we could carry on.
EDIT: or we could just play a passworded game on open bnet, that would work just as well if you might have to leave us early.
 
Alright! And shall we set the goal for next WE to mat/pat then? No matter how far you get without me, I will manage it! ^^ (at least because that dang test is the last before christmas............)

And i got A-level exams after xmas and i am really not looking forward to revising fro them, as it measn time away from here and D2, unless you all know about the rise of ****sm in germany 1923-33 and marketing and finance in modern businesses. :lol:
 
Hmm... Sorry, I won't play with you this weekend! I just can't, I have to learn for that damn test! It wouldn't be that bad, if we weren't away the whole day tomorrow and if our relatives wouldn't visit us on sunday... Sad coincidence. I will spend my evenings in another way then. I will browse here a bit and plan my sorc or something and learn. I also won't stay up all the night then. *sigh* If I would play with you this night and not learn, I would be too tired tomorrow for going away and it would just result in total arguement! Also I haven't got any presents yet (I even don't know what I want to get) and next week it's christmas! Sorry, you have to do without me and without conviction... :) You will get it... Just... if you will get mat/pats, don't begin to level without me, because I will have trouble to get through hell in the next week, mainly because it's christmas and everything. *sigh* Makes me even more look forward to the christmas holidays! Two weeks without school! YAY! :thumbsup:
