ok, how about this. After this eveings session (who's hosting? since reborn is ahead now?) we see how many people are at least in nm, and then PM all those who said they'd conmpete but havent played in any game this weekend and find out where they are. by early next week we should know aht is achievable for people. id say early hell isd a good aiming point, providing everyone is already in nm.

When he get to hell baal running, then yea, it seems good. everyone picks up the items from the drop, save and exit, reload, drop items in town, then the sorc, gets first choice, if they dont want anything, they go off and TP to throne, while others dish out the items. Of course, if its a really rare item, or something that is specific to 1 build, then that person obviously wil get first choice.
Any disagreements shoudl result in the item being given to me and end of discussion.

i like that idea too.
another one was that if really rare items (tyraels) or runes drop, we could play scissors, stone & paper (schere, stein, papier
)to find out who gets them. i think thats would be a fair method (if we find any uber-itemz).
btw, after having killed mephisto i left the game because of lag and couldnt rejoin anymore... ...stupid dorm-internet.
i finished act4 alone and went then to bed, so i'm in act5 nm atm.:thumbsup:

how do we play paper scissors stone online, to make it fair? each be ready with your choice and do a countdown so you just have to press enter at the same time?

Or any area, select any person to kill until they find some gold, then the one closest to it gets the item. Nice idea.

Fine, fine! How are you doing? I just hit lvl 75 and I have a few problems:
1. I have now gimmershreds and it's awesome. On p1 I do only one hit kills and I can kill quickly on p8. LoH are uber, because all of baals minions and baal himself are demons. I am also happy with how fast he can kill baal. But will it be enough for hell? I still have to put 4 points into the zeal synergy sacrifice and I have no might merc, yet. I could also load up a few elemental charms. But I don't know if that is enough. I have 50% CB, but CB can't do the whole job, can it?
2. The thing I worry about much more: defense! I don't mean the characters defense (in the char screen), I mean in general. My resists are maxed, in hell, too (except poison). Actually I have no problem with elemental damage, also not with gloams, but lightning absorb on my lightsabre doesn't seem to work...?? They still damage me a little. I heard that they deal physical damage, too? Yeah, physical damage... I have good defense (I won't be short on points and I will put the rest of my points into the holy shield synergy defiance, giving me nice defense) and nice leech, I can stand just in the middle of some insane swinging minions of destruction who do not hit me often. If they hit, I leech back my life in less than a second, because of 350% dmg to demons. With my dual leechers I have 14% life leech. Will this be enough for hell? Would the might merc + finished sacrifice save my leech?
I already said that I can still kill and survive easily. However, that changes at some points:
1. Curses. AD and Dec. AD doesn't happen too often, only if there are witches, which I can kill in one hit, no matter what player setting, but if I get hit then, it hurts! But like I said, it doesn't happen too often. But the other one does: DEC!!! Hell what can you do against this? Baal seems to cast it constantly. I am much weaker then and can't leech my life back fast enough, because of the slow. This is probably the most annoying thing about baalruns for me, except OK's. I can't always visit Mara. It is time consuming and imagine if I stand in the middle of a monster pack... What to do? :-/
2. The second wave. The poison hurts and they shoot their crappy icebolts at me at the same time, means I am down quite fast. Combine that with Dec and you're set... Also they are skeletons, means that I can't leech off them. I can leech of the mummies, but due to the mentioned effect not survive...
However, I have only died one time because of IM, but these are problems... I had to get this out of my mind. Any tips?

The difference in difficulty of Baal runs in NM compared to Hell is huge. No CB won't do the whole job, but it'll take you a long way :thumbsup:

Remember that Lister has a smite attack that is ITD. If you get surrounded and stun locked you're toast. But with redemption it'll be enough.

The hell witches in Hell are a pain, they will kill your merc very quickly, and can do some serious damage to your character - Don't stand still, and have some full reju's at the ready.
With the decrip, when the minions spawn run to the rear of the throne room, they'll follow you and you can kill them oustide the range of Baal's Decrip. (note: this won't work for the first 2 waves, so kill them at Baal's feet and use redemption to clean up the bodies so the minions cannot be resurrected).
